Terrible experience on multiple visits. The front desk staff are insensitive and lack empathy toward the patients attending their office. The policy at the office is a five minute ***** ******* We entered the wrong building for our appointment and were redirected to the correct entrance. I was told we were 1 minute, yes 60 seconds, past the ***** ****** and would not be seen. There was such a lack of empathy, ***** and dignity with the office staff. While I value and respect the time of the doctors, I feel the 1 minute could have been a warning or a conversation, not a cold and unremarkably insensitive denial of services. It would seem that working in the field of mental health there would be trainings for the clerical staff to make sure that each person is treated with dignity and *****. We never know what a person has been dealing with prior to walking in the front door of their health provider's office. Yet, at this office, there seems to be a lack of all necessary values and kindness. The first time this was the case, I thought I would give it another try since I did not want to judge the office by one or two encounters. Maybe the person was having a difficult or challenging day. It does seem that this is the norm for this office and will not be subjecting myself or anyone I care about to the staff at this office. I will be reporting it to as many people as possible as they the first people to make contact with the clients in this office seem be be lacking the appropriate skills for this health facility.

This is in response to the customer review ID ****** dated **/**/2024. We were able to identify the customer in the review and have communicated directly with them to discuss their concern.Mindful Behavioral Healthcares goal is to provide quality mental health services to all our customers. We are a large psychiatric practice which requires for us to adhere to certain processes in order to be able to maintain our high quality of care.We usually ask our customers to arrive between fifteen to twenty minutes before their appointment in order to deal with any unforeseen delays. When a customer arrives past their scheduled time, we do everything in our power to accommodate them with their scheduled provider or offer an alternative provider when appropriate, to assure that the customer does not miss their appointment. In this particular case, we were able to accommodate the customer with their scheduled provider but here was going to be a delay before they could be seen. The customer was not satisfied with the accommodation so they chose to leave the office without being seen.We had a telephone conversation with the customer to clarify the situation and a follow up appointment was offered but declined. We are following up with a letter as we want to ensure that the customer does not have an interruption in their treatment as a result of this event.It is our aim to continuously evaluate our processes to assure that we treat our customers fairly and are able to provide consistent care. The customer is encouraged to reach out to us to provide continuation of care if they wish to do so. We apologize if their expectations were not met and will be willing to address with them any other concerns they may have regarding this psychiatric practice.
