On 7-5-2022 The following company "C.C Riders" from ********* in Polk county did a change of tires that I brought in for My 2020 katana for a total of $161.89. This would be my bike "first time" tire change service with nearly 4000 miles. It was only when I got home and washed down the bike that I noticed on the rear rim that it has been aggressively scraped/chipped and decals ruined from all around the rim by they're machine and possibly caused by forced of hand by user error. within the same day I try to call them to let them know the situation but it was 27 minutes pass before they closed for the day. The next following day I was at their shop as soon as they opened and I had the owner of the shop "Kevin" come out so that he could see what his technician "Brad" did to my rear rim. They were both acting dumbfounded and tried to explain to me that they don't understand how their machine could cause such damage but then his technician continued to explain to me that sometimes the plastic they used to couple the rim itself could cause this to happen.. I explained to them that I have a witness (My mother) and proof that my rim went into that shop with no damages and came out damaged. Kevin try to settle with me by offering a touch up. I agree for the touch up at the extent that it would look original again, Kevin agreed and said he would be in contact. 7-8-22. 3 days have passed and I haven't heard anything from him and within those 3 days I have gotten quotes from 2 professional motorcycle paint shops, both shops quoted me around the same price $500 to properly fix up the damage done to the rim and to be able to put it back to ORIGINAL, they also said that the touch up offered by Kevin will not help at all since the damages done is NOT a light scratch. I went back to Kevin shop with the information provided by the paint shops and Kevin decided to not refund me or get my rim fixed properly. He still persisted to offer me the touch up that clearly won't work.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2022/08/06) */ ****** brought his motorcycle to us to have a rear wheel install on his bike, our tire machine that we use has special grips that are made of rubber coated metalto hold rim securly while we remove tirefrom rim. it grabs the back side of wheel not even touching the top of rim where these LIGHT scratches are......the rim is black and there are NO gouges in the metal. i dont't have any idea how these scratches got there. nothing ,nothing touches that part of the rim on the tire machine. i looked at the scratches and they only chipped the paint,as i would do with any customer, told him that i would buy some touch up paint and cover the LIGHT SCRATCHES as a goodwill jster. he informed me that he took pics of whole bike just in case we damaged ANY part of his motorcycle before he brought it in,sounds fishy to me but again offered to touch up the rim with black touch up paint.(you would never be able to see scratches and then he started to yell i asked him to leave and here we are. he is trying to get rims done. now he says his mother saw the rims before? agian if you would like to see pic of tire machine to verify whast i have said let me know. thank you actually sending pics of machineto show there is NOmetal parts touching the rim the claws grab the back of rim, there is NOTHING TOUCHING THE INSIDE OF RIM Consumer Response /* (3000, 10, 2022/08/09) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) The method that Kevin wanted to use to fix my rim was decalred NOT fixable with touch up paint by a professional motorcycle body/paint shop. I made this clear to Kevin on the day that I came back to speak to kevin in a calm non-escalated atmosphere within his business, 3 days to be exact, after giving him a chance to repair my rim in which mind you I do have the video of our conversation and never within our moment of dispute did I ever raised my voice. As he stated and denied, I do have pictures of before and after on how the rim went in his shop and came out and I also have a video showing that I showed him the picture. The unprofessionalism in his words claiming that My evidence is "fishy" clearly shows the guilt that he knew he did wrong and doesn't want to be held responsible. I told him to simply refund me for the damages and he refused. He proceeded to shrug his shoulders and not care and told me that eventually my rim would look just as bad after riding a while. Never once did I blame his machine that could have caused the damage, all I ever told him was how it went into his shop and came out the way it did. More than likely technician user error. This shop of Kevin is the first shop to ever put hands on my bike as this bike is kept within a garage. I made that clear to Kevin as well. He belittled me when I told him the quotes and where I've went for a proper exam of the damage he did by a professional motorcycle paint shop. Till this day my motorcycle is still with the same damages that left his shop and to this day he still refuses to take care of it the proper way. I am not content with his form of respect, denial and the outcome that Kevin has caused me. I will simply like a refund to settle this matter. Business Response /* (4000, 15, 2022/08/27) */ AS I PREVIUOSLY STATED, AND SENT PICTURES OF THE TIRE MACHINE TO PROVE THAT THERE IS NOTHING THAT WOULD SCRATCH THE INSIDE OF RIM.THE PAINT THAT HE SHOWED ME,DID'NT HAVE ANY GOUGES OR SCRATCHES EXCEPT WHERE THE PAINT CAME OFF.IF HE WANTS A REFUND FOR WORKED PERFORMED,THEN HE IS MISTAKEN. HE ALSO STATES THAT HE TOOK TO A MOTORCYCLE WHEEL PAINTING PROFESIONAL? THERE IS A LITTLE PAINT THAT WAS PEELED OFF.NO SCRATHES OR GOUGES.A SIMPLE BLACK TOUCH UP PAINT WILL SUFICE.HE NEEDS TO SEND YOU THE PICS OF THE LITTLE SCRATCH AND SEE FOR YOURSELF Consumer Response /* (4200, 17, 2022/09/02) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) As I stated before "I NEVER SAID THE MACHINE WAS TO BLAME BUT INSTEAD THE PERSON WHO WAS IN CHARGE OF THE TASK" In response to Kevin's request I've already uploaded pictures in regards to this matter since the beginning of this dispute that I started. Kevin seems agitated and doesn't want to come to an understanding with me. I'm left with no compensation and a damaged rim. I wish to no longer go back and forth on this matter if kevin won't refund me or get my rim painted back to original THE WAY I LEFT IT WITH HIM TO BEGIN WITH! Kevin claims that a simple "touch up paint" will put my rim back to original over the words of an actual Motorcycle body paint shop professional that stated "A TOUCH UP PAINT WILL NOT FIX THE DAMAGE DONE". Kevin and his coworkers are nothing more than motorcycle MECHANIC technician versus the words of a body shop PAINT PROFESSIONAL technician. Kevin once again disagrees to accommodate the situation and I once again am not content with his response as he is not giving me the correct resolution.
