We hired John Locke Painting *** to paint the outside of our house. We paid over $5000, but we did not get what we paid for. First, they were supposed to pressure wash the house with a cleaner. While their guy took less than 30 minutes to pressure washer a two story with only water. He did not use any cleaning solution. Also, he was supposed to do the driveway and sidewalks, he did not touch the areas. He left dirt, spider webs, and dead bugs on the house. The painters just painted over everything that was left on the house. Second, they were paid to seal the house, but that wasnt done. I did mention to the owner that the house wasnt sealed all the way around, but it was just spot sealed. I provided pictures that showed a select small areas sealed, but the remaining was not. This was ignored. Third, they were to patch the cracks in the stucco. I know that on the first floor there were cracks around the whole house; not one crack was handled before painting. Their painters just painted over the cracks. Also, we had them include repairing the ceiling on our back porch. While their guy did apply product to the ceiling and he bragged about his abilities; our ceiling looks like an apprentice did the repair. Our ceiling looks like a terrible road map; we are going to have to sand and repair the area ourselves and repaint. I sent the owner pictures and even she said it was terrible, but they havent done anything to resolve the issue. Fourth, the front porch floor within a week looked chalky and needs to be repainted. As for the back porch it had sections that their paint was already coming up. That porch we have already had to repaint the floor, because their paint was coming up and we wanted to get our belongs back on the back porch. Another issue was that **** said that he would have someone come back and paint around the windows that were being installed in a few days, but that never happened. This never happened. Other issues but not enough space with BBB.
