I paid top dollar for what was supposed to be a professional job and the quality of work was extremely poor as was the quality of products used for a replacement fence. Also I was charged for materials that were not used which would also lower labor costs as that was work that was supposed to be done and was not. When I contacted the business and asked for a refund for said materials and labor and also sent a list of the said issues that needed to be addressed I have not received a reply and it has been one week now since the last contact.

Costumer was quoted = 45 panels, 50 posts and 15 bags of concrete ! attached it is the receipt from Lowes of the materials that was delivered on his property, 45 panels, 50 posts and not 15 but 20 bags of concrete, materials were left at his property, i used everything and had a little more than a half panel left over which was left at the property when i finished the job. Mr. **** accused me of not using pressure treated materials, this is also written on the picture/receipt attached! I finished the work and he said that everything looked great, and i even told him in person that the posts might move when it rains,[ because of the new concrete ] and if that happened all he needed to do was, to let me know and i would go back and readjusted. so for that reason there is no refund to be made !

I am rejecting this response because: ************* was paid in full the remaining balance on good faith the day he said the job was completed as it is an hour away and once I reviewed the work I let him know I was not happy at which time he claimed he would come and make things right and then I decided to look at the invoice and noticed the overcharges on materials and the 5 extra bags of concrete added up to less that $30(also which he also grossly overcharged on the material costs as can be seen on his attached invoice and also charged top dollar for labor that was of poor quality) and I personally counted the 4X4 post used and he charged me $600 for 50 posts and only 44 were used which is $12 per post six posts $72 total there.I sent him a text message stating that i would like a refund and for him to fix the problems and have never heard from him again. He also charged me for 6 wheels for double gates which he never installed $240 for materials not to mention less labor for work not done so there should be a labor refund. I have attached some photos of in my opinion the poor quality of work done by ************** and you can easily see why I have a problem. He did not even put screws in all the holes on some of the hardware and you can clearly look closely at the photo and see they were never put in or there would be holes there. Also the gates are horrible as he put one board across diagonally and the gates are already warping on the other sides as this is not sufficient and there are no wheels on the gates as can be seen in the photos. Also on the gate look at the hardware and how far off the latch is for the hook to hold it in place. At this point I would like some of the money for labor refunded along with the overcharge for materials but would rather him not come back and fix anything due to the poor quality of work as can be seen by the attached photos. I feel a $1000 refund is more than fair at this point due to time/ extra labor at my cost/ overcharge for materials/labor overcharge. Thank you, ***********************.

      Sincerely,

      ***********************

I have attached a few pictures but I do have more pictures from our conversations and videos from the job. ***************** keeps saying he paid "Top Dollar" for materials but I believe one of the photos I have attached it is a cart from Lowes,  which is the place where I purchased his materials, and if you select = 45 fence panels, 50 posts, 20 bags of concrete the total will be $4,068.68 PLUS $100 Delivery fee which I did not include or wrote on his estimate, also ***************** says I charged for wheels, for the gates. Yes I did ESTIMATED wheels, but on site I could not use the wheels on the gates because of the field being sloped, and if I had installed wheels it would be for nothing, instead, I installed 2x4s which I also did not charge, neither include on his estimate, there is also screws to attach the fence panels that it is not included on the estimate, and it is okay with me, because I never charged, from my understanding ***************** is just trying to get some sort of money back no matter what, and he is trying to find or create a reason for it, because one of his messages to me he asked for $403 refund, now he writes $1,000 refund.

I did send the receipt from Lowes on my last statement, and I do have Lowes message and picture of the delivery confirmation of all the materials being delivered at his property at ****************, now when I finished the job all the materials that was left over I  left on the same spot where it was delivered, he is clearly trying to get whatever money he can get back, but I do have all the receipts and pictures and also conversations to prove it ! When ***************** says I did not respond to his last message, he is telling the truth, but the reason I stop responding was because he was being very offensive and rude, even when I told him I was going back there to fix what I had promised. On his last message he said he did not want me on his property without him or the person that lives on his property [ which is the same person he called to ask if the job was completed and asked if it looked good before he made the last payment ], so I did not feel safe going back there to fix the issue, after everything he said about my work ! It is absolutely okay not to like the work that I provided, but he has no right to offend me like he did on the messages ! also took him 12 days to check the job that it is 40min away from his house and he paid "TOP DOLLAR" ?
