This customer came to my store looked / Inspected the refrigerator that she purchased, The refrigerator was clean and working at the time of purchase, The customer requested that the ********************** not be installed at the time of delivery because the home was being remodeled at that time, I have no idea how long the refrigerator sat closed up before it was turned on, a used refrigerator allowed to sit with the doors closed will accumulate mold in a matter of days, The appliance needs to be recleaned with bleach the same way we do it prior to the sale, this customer demanded that we come to her home and reclean the appliance or give her a refund, I refuse to do either. this issue was caused by circumstances that was out of my control and I refuse to accept liability.

I contacted Pinellas County Refrigeration - looking for a used fridge for 1 of my 3 rental homes locally. The person on the phone who collected my Debit Card information and charged my account on the 16th of May 2024 never disclosed that they have a "no refund" policy in effect - they charged my account and collected the $396(including delivery charge to my rental property address). Subsequently, there have been more than 1 attempt to meet them at the property and have the fridge delivered - they never showed up. My Property Manager has sourced a fridge from a locally more responsible company - we no longer need the fridge from Pinellas County Refrigeration. I have been persistent in requesting a total refund - no service or product has been received for the funds($396, on 16th May 2024) they have taken. Attached is my bank statement showing the charge by Pinellas County Refrigeration on 16 May 2024, amount $396.Business response

Customer purchased a fridge and then missed 3 scheduled and confirmed delivery attempt, blaming the tenant and us, after the 3rd attempt we quit trying, his money was refundedCustomer response

I am rejecting this response because:I have scoured my bank statements from the date his business took the $396 to today, via online account. There is no record of any refund - later today I will verbally contact my bank to verify there was no refund - and I will provide my bank with this screenshot of the owner of the business, *******************, stating the money was refunded.

I purchased a washer for $320.00 and brought it home on 10/2/2023. It does not work. It needs a stabilizer and possibly more, I am not a washer repair person so I dont really know. I tried to contact them to bring it back for repair. It took me almost a week to get someone to answer. I brought washer back on 10/11/2023 and was told they would call me that day and let me know what the issue was and when it would be fixed. I never received a Call. On 10/13/2023 we drove an hour to see if we could speak to someone F2F but they were closed up. It was in the middle of the day. I continued to call with no call back or response.. They refused to give me a refund and now they have the washer and wont return my call. I contacted my bank to dispute the chargeBusiness response

First the customers claim that we couldn't be reached for weeks is untrue. This Customer purchased a machine, 3 wks later we get a call saying the machine wasn't working, because the customer picked it up they were responsible to return it, and once the customer was informed of this is when the problems began, the customer explained they lived an hr away and i said I would do everything in my power to keep them from having to make multiple trips, Once the customer arrived with the machine I offered an exact replacement no questions asked, they refused, I explained the machine would be checked at our first opportunity, which was the following day, we did locate a problem but the repair required a part that had to be ordered and could take up to a week to arrive, the customer found this unacceptable and demanded a refund, which was refused since the machine had been used weeks before the issue arose. and discussions were stoppedInitial Complaint

I bought a refrigerator for them for my daughter on 29 July it stopped working four days later I've begged them to take it back they refuse to take it back it's not working correctly she's already lost food twice because it works for a few days and then it shuts down for a few days obviously I'm gonna have to call and order another refrigerator from Lowe's or Home Depot and have them take this refrigerator and put it in the garage and wait for the company to do something I've already stop payment on my credit card and I don't understand why these people are being so bullheaded. There's a reason there's so many complaints against this company they are really really bad I should've read the Better Business Bureau reviews first. I told him after four days that this is such a good working refrigerator to take it back and sell it to someone else. All I want for them to pick up their non-working refrigerator.. I have already notified my credit card company not to pay them.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/08/10) */ The customer purchased a refrigerator 7/26/22 a few day after the sale and delivery the customer had an issue with the appliance, we received the complaint , and immediately dispatched a tech, upon arrival the tech found and repaired the issue, the next day, even though the appliance works fine the customer began demanding a refund, Our warranty is very clear, Its stated clearly and was agreed to and sigh=ned be the custom at the time of purchase, NO REFUNDS, REPAIR REPLACE WARRANTY ONLY... There's no communicating with this customer, both the father and daughter cant be reasoned with.. They've called 30 times leaving harassing, threatening type messages, at this point our willingness to deal with these individuals has ended.... He left out that when the refrigerator dies the SECOND time is when we started calling. I bought a working refrigerator, what I got is a refrigerator that needs a service call every 4 days. This is not going to work, a refrigerator needs to remain cool continually to keep food cold. a refrigerator that shuts off every few days is not what I bought. The BBB is a waste of time, but at least my complaint will be read by some people before buying from this store. Selling fault appliances seams to be his pattern as you read many negative reviews. I only wish I read them before calling to place an order. I want the non-working refrigerator picked up and a total refund.Initial Complaint

3/9/22 800.00 sale , Delivery 55.00- Sales tax 60.00- total paid 915.00 90 day Warranty , On 4/2/22 Dryer stopped working , Owner refused to honor the warranty . upon inspection of dryer - wires melted , harness and cords need to be replaced . Owner refused to fix told me to take him to court . as you will see in the 4 Jpeg images uploaded washes does not drain well and to be honest I am Afraid to go to this place of business . i feel if I do go there I would need a Police escort . Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/04/11) */ This customer has absolutely no grounds for a complaint we sold the customer a washer and dryer set approximately two weeks after the sale on Saturday April 2nd at 1:30 p.m. I receive a call from the Mrs stating that they were having issues with the dryer they had purchased a couple weeks prior. I apologized for the inconvenience stated that I could get them on the schedule for Monday April 4th which was our first availability. at that point she began cussing at me telling me that she was going to contact every body she could and let them know that she had been ripped off the whole time using foul language that I've rarely heard from a woman in my life so I ended the call about five minutes later I get a call from the husband same thing he went on to State how I was a crook my company was a scam artist and that I was responsible to get a technician out there immediately since they both had to work Monday I explained that it wasn't possible because they waited 30 minutes until closing time on a Saturday the technician had already left for the day and then he began cussing me and I made a decision just to hang up. I will at no time allow anybody to talk to me the way that these people talk to me I did everything I could for 10 or 15 minutes trying to rectify the situation professionally. at that point I made a decision that I wasn't also at some point through the sale and set up of the delivery they acquired my personal phone number and he called my personal phone and left vulgar threatening messages. I purchased this as a set because my washer stoped draining out and I wanted them to match . I Kept my old dryer so I could sell it. This man is straight up lying . I call this company as soon as my dryer almost caught on fire . I did not know the hours of operation . The dryer just stoped working . I still had my old dryer and put it back in my laundry room . Plugged it back in and was working just fine . So now knowing it was not my electric panel , my husband took the back of the newly purchased dryer and found all the connection loose and a melted wire .I have uploaded pictures , so if you do not see them please let me know . This was done after the owner refused to come on a Saturday. I need help fast . I had to leave town due to a family member going home on hospice. . I feel he is wrong because he can be open to sell his used appliances but not open to fix . I asked the owner if he goes through the appliances before he sells them . Infatically stated and reassured me that are in perfect running condition. His employee delivery and set up the machines. If in fact this dryer was looked at before sale he would have seen the loose wires . This could have caught my house on fire . I do not appreciate the tone he was using with me and the fact that he refused to assist me after 5 pm on Monday the 4 th of April . No where on his warranty does it state that he only works 9 to 5 . Unfair businesses. Should have told us as consumers that if we need help under the 90 day warranty that it could only be address between 9 and 5 . I just want this company to do right by there contract . No hard feeling but buyer beware I suppose. I need the BBB to be an advocate for me as the consumer . I went to his mom and pop shop mainly to help a small busses owner and for the price of the set . This man was extremely rude and very confrontational. I need help as I had to get parts to fix this problem because as you can see in his nasty tex message his is refused to help . I was afraid to go to his establishment in fear I would need to bring a police officer with me . Furthermore I am frightened by his Vulgar demeanor and attitude. This is not at all what I expected from a local company. I can not trust a person that states he will not honor a warranty . I would like to see the proof of his allegations of said messages . . I wish the BBB would investigate this situation further . This is why I reached out to the BBB in the first place because I knew by his previous conversation with me that I would not have a good responsible outcome . Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/12/15) */ As the customer stated they purchased a refrigerator with ice and water features upon delivery we found a existing water line which happen to be copper was cramped and unrepairable and we suggested that the entire line set be replaced the customer agreed and we went back and replaced it about 40 days later we get a call from the customer saying the water line was leaking and that had destroyed their floor and they want compensated first let me Begin by saying that nobody is more experienced or more careful when it comes to water lines or anything where there could be potential damage to someone's home having said that we make it very clear it's on the signs throughout our store and it's also on the invoice and which the customer read and signed that we are not responsible for any flooring damage and a food loss any electrical issues or anything that happens to the home we have a total of 50 years experience between us the chance of us installing a line incorrectly is nil also when the customer called in they informed us that they had a neighbor come over and pull the refrigerator out and their neighbor is the person saying that the line was improperly installed instead of calling us to take a look at it that all by itself voidz the warranty at this point I have made contact with the customer and they are requesting that we pay for the repairs of the floor which I'm not willing to do.
