We purchase a new Air conditioning unit from D&D Air Conditioning (Trane) $9393. We also purchased a 10 year labor warranty from D&D for $1500 and Cleaning effects for $1495. The AC has been down mulitple times since installation and D& D "fixed the issue" . We called them again earlier in March 2022 to service the unit we did not get calls back. The unit went down on 3/22/22 and we were told that they could not service the unit until 3/30! No AC in the home. And that there would be $104 Service charge or we could use a sub contractor but again there would be a service charge. That they were not honoring the 10 year labor warranty. We called Trane who told us they are not an approved dealer for warranty issues and we refered to another company. We had to pay them $193 for the call and $179 for drain line repair. We called D&D on 3/22 and have yet to recieve a call back. We are looking for reimbursement of $1500 for not honoring the labor warranty.Initial Complaint

I have used this company in the past and they installed the AC unit in my home. Upon my last service call (2-17-2022) with them it was discovered that the coil inside my AC was dirty and would need to be chemically cleaned. Great, tech gave me a quote and I wanted to proceed. I called the office and scheduled an appt for March 4, 2022. On March 3, I was called by the company between 8am to 9:30am, asking to reschedule as they only had two techs working for them now. No problem, I appreciated the heads up. We rescheduled for March 16th, as the 14th was not available. I told them I would reach out if I needed to change the date because of work. I called the company on March 15th at 3:32pm and got their answering service, I was calling to verify my appointment to make sure it would not get moved like it previously did, I would hate to miss work and no one show. Never heard back. The morning of the appointment, March 16, I called and received their answering service again. I spoke with a gentleman trying to confirm my appointment and let him know I called yesterday and still didn't hear anything. He said he would pass it along and have them give me a call back. So I waited most of the day for either a tech to show up to do the cleaning of the unit or at least someone from the office to call me. I call the phone number again, 239-694-4849, at 4:49 and spoke with a lady who said she would get my message over promptly. I told the lady I had a no show and no call today and wanted to speak with someone ASAP if possible. Today it is March 17 at around 9:30pm and I have yet to be contacted by this business. At this point, I have lost a day of work over this and my system still needs to be cleaned. If my appointment was not on the books, or if a no show occurred I should have been contacted by now, instead of ignored.
