The first day of service was 7/25/24. My boyfriends ****** Altima was not accelerating and the transmission was malfunctioning. I was told by ******* that the total price would be $4007.00 and that the job would be done in a few days. A few days turned into almost 2 months, with little to no communication about the vehicle. ******* rushed me to pay him $3500 without any progress on the car and the job shouldve been treated as a priority but it was not (this is fraud). We got the car back for 1 day and it was jerking hard. He put a broken transmission in the car and said he didnt know it was broken (which could have caused an accident if driving). He took the vehicle to ****** (on his own will) and I found out that the transmission was on warranty. He kept a misogynistic attitude with me throughout the whole service (trying to manipulate me because Im a female). I was always given different days for the job to be done and it wasnt. I got frustrated and went to his shop on Friday 9/27/24. The car had all 4 tires off it and no engine. ******* blamed ****** for no work being done. I told him that if the car wasnt finished by Saturday that I would be contacting the bureau. I went back on Saturday and the car was ready. My boyfriend was with me and Eduardos attitude towards me was different. He did not test drive the vehicle before returning it to me. I respectfully walked into his office to discuss a refund (I got a second opinion and I would let him keep $1200 of what I paid him for his labor) and when I explained it, he said dont get smart. My boyfriend tried to reason with him, but ******* said he wanted to take it to court, despite his shop having a 1-star rating. I have every interaction recorded on my phone and screenshots of transactions incase this matter is taken to court. Hes known my family for years. The service was terrible and I regret ever going to him for help. All I want is my money back and an apology for how I was treated.

                                                                                                     ***** Fl, October 29th,2024

      To whom this may concern:

Response in regards case ID ******** as per request.
Yes, Symone came to my shop with an issue in her cars transmission, please find the original invoice from our shop ($4,331) attached. In consideration of her being sent by a family member, client of mine for many years, which requested to give her a good treat price wise, I did my best to do so and barely charged her any labor according to the by hour book. Indeed, I asked her to send me the cost of the new transmission (the $3500 she is referring to) and attached find the original invoice from ******, I must say this does not cover the special fluids it also needs. She is saying I put a broken transmission in the car unfortunately, she is accusing me of a lie. I got a new transmission directly from ******, as you may notice all the documents to back this up are attached. I can agree with her that the job took longer than expected but that was out of my hands, like I politely explained to her when she came back the first time, not in the best position to work things out. When she came back the second time,  I took her to ****** directly, tired of her being harassing me at my work because ****** had to do a test on the sold transmission to make sure it was bad, thats their policy and Im sending you that document with the rate for that being $215.00, the transmission came out bad, according to this test, witch by the way I had to pay, that puts me on red already. Moving on, ****** did not fix the transmission I had to do it since she was pushing it and ****** didnt solve it fast enough for her, finally the issues WAS FIXED, yes it took longer as she stated but that was absolutely out of MY hands.

I notice she requested her money back and is being nice enough to let me keep $1200, unfortunately,I cannot accept, simply because she did not even pay the FULL amount on the invoice that she agreed and sign for us. She still has a balance in our books.
And yes, I do want to take her to court, because there is one thing to try to help her and another one, the way she also tries to accuse me of lies. She also accuses me of being misogynistic I am sorry if she felt that way, I didnt intent to, I can assure you I didnt say anything that would describe me as such person.

Finally, for 27 years, customer service has been our priority, it is true that we are not a perfect business but judge yourself, this is our 3erd complain in almost 3 decades. Im always willing to work with our clients, we try as much as possible to solve their questions and car problems, sadly there are many times  that have nothing to do with me like this time. Feel free to contact us in regards this subject any time at ***********.

      Sincerely Eduardo's Auto Repair
