I placed an order online for buy one get one free and paid the amount. When I got to the store, I was told there was an error and they received only one order for one sandwich and I would have to pay again, despite already paying the first time. I explained to the man/owner that I already paid and he proceeded with telling me there was an error in the order and I needed to pay for the second sandwich. Obviously, they misrepresented their offer with the attempts to get more money and this is false and deceptive consumer practices act.Business response

Subway had a national promotion; buy one get one free ONLY on online orders. ************************** placed an order and made a error ordering only one sandwich and she payed for only one sandwich. She never came to the store, her son came to pick up the order and we gave her exactly what she ordered, one sandwich. We processed the order exactly how it came thru on the system; only one sandwich. Her son was very rude on the phone with the mother claiming they shouldve got two sandwiches when they only ordered one, I hope this clarifies the complaint and it is not our fault and we humbly request to remove this complaint from your website. I am rejecting this response because: neither my son or myself was rude. It was the manager and his employees who acted belligerently. I did not make any errors in ordering and placed an order as set forth in the instructions. When my son got to the store expecting two sandwiches as ordered, he was told he would have to pay for a second. This was unfair and deceptive trade practice and a pattern that this business uses to gain unfair advantage Shame on them.

I strongly disagree with ***************************, she needs to get familiar with how to order online, attached is the proof she receive one sandwich, and she and her son to pick the order up, we had a line of customers while her son was interrupting our business and she was calling on the store phone also, arguing. They were very rude while we were trying to humbly explain to her that she ordered only one sandwich, please dismiss this complaint. I had to do a lot of research to go back to July 10 to find the proof and receipt. Thank you kindly.
