Climbers Land Services was hired on July 19, 2024, to install 910 LF (.99 acres) of Red Brand 4 fencing and perform land clearing. Land was partially performed leaving excessive debris and trash. The fence was installed incorrectly, missing corner supports, concrete, they did not use proper size corner posts and supports, corners were not wired, fence was not stretched, and even with a survey provided (135 x 320) and visible markers present they still missed the property line by a staggering 6. The quality was so ridiculously and visually substandard that I provided the contractor with a ******* video showing how to properly install the fence. The owner of Climbers Land Services apologized and agreed to correct the deficiencies but has failed to take corrective action. Five separate appointments have been missed with a different excuse given each time. The contractor is egregiously incompetent and operating without a license.Business response

Climbers land service is a small family business that was contacted by Mr. ****** on July 19th to do some land clearing and **** hogging I also told him that we do fence and he told me to give him an estimate so I went out to the property in ************ estates I looked at it and then I sent him an estimate which he accepted for the **************************************************************************************************** so that he could bring his dogs from ************ I stayed in contact with Mr. ****** throughout and he told me that the closing was August 8th when he closed on August 8th my son met with him and got all the details of what he needed to have done and then on August 9th we started the materials for the fence were delivered we started **** hogging and taking out trees that we had quoted him for we got it ready for fence we started the fence on August 12th and he Mr. ****** was there in his travels he I contacted him every day when my sons were putting up the fence he was there if he was not there we sent him pictures of how far we had gotten and he kept asking me of how quickly we could get it doneCustomer response

I am rejecting this response because: The Company placed the fence 6 feet off of the property line, admitted there made a mistake, promised to fix the problem, and then wanted more money to fix their mistake. Not a single corner of the fence was properly installed, supported, or braced. When they demanded more money to fix their admitted mistake I made a formal complaint to the State of Florida. According to the ********************************* *************************** (Case # ****-02416) the business has an opportunity to mediate the dispute. If they refuse to mediate then I intend to file a law suit. They have a choose to make.
