I just got off the phone with the owner of this company and his wife, where they were screaming and cussing at me. THEY’RE SCAMMERS! We bought toss house two years ago and our a/c has worked great for its age. I have it set at 68, it started at 70, even in the summer. When ours went out my husband called this place and they talked him into a $16,000 a/c unit! I wasn’t here for this. They knew our duct work, they knew what windows we have, and the glass sliders. This a/c unit will not go below 78-80 before midnight to 1 am! I’ve called so many times. Half the time they don’t even call back. They are now saying I need to replace all my windows, both glass sliding doors, and redo our entire duct work for this ADVANCED A/C UNIT to work right! I’ve spoken to several of their technicians and even their own technician’s say they have multiple customers that feel this way! I just asked for my old machine back or the equivalent of that and they refused to do anything to help us! This is a rental and no one will want to stay here because it’s so hot! The owner even had the audacity to bring up my relationship with my husband, which has nothing to do with this situation at all! SO if you want to be trapped in a financial situation with a company that now is telling me I have to spend Thousands and thousands on the ductwork and even more thousands on brand new windows just for this a/c unit to work?! These are the people for you then. I’m still in shock a company would treat a human like this! On another note, both my neighbors have about the same square footage and neither have this issue.Comfort Airz LLC Response

Mrs. Erin Z****, The system that your husband purchased has software that tells us that it is running perfect and each time we have sent someone out, over the last week, it still remains the same answer, perfect. Even with that information, we still sent our techs out and replaced your main lines of duct work at no cost to you, just trying to appease you. We explained to you that it is impossible for an AC system to run at 68 degrees when it is as hot as it is outside in the middle of the day, however the 72 degrees your system is achieving at that time of day is fantastic. The conversation that we had after that, was that you wanted a cheaper system, you didn’t want the “expensive” one, while you and your husband are going through hardships. We cannot just take a perfectly running system and give you a new one for no reason, as we are a small, family owned business without the resources to do so. We are a great company and are willing to go above and beyond for our customers as we have with you, but this is where we draw the line. We learned a valuable lesson here, we did not know we were going to get caught in the middle of your personal issues with your husband and for that we are sorry we took you as a customer. The company owners, **** and Cat, are great people and when we had a water issue with our A/C last Saturday, they sent someone right over. So we have to mention the technician who arrived,,,he is mentioned in several older posts. His name is **** and everything stated about him is incredibly true! Knowledgeable, Explains everything in terms you can understand, Thorough, Above and beyond the call, Shares knowledge and gives you tips on prolonging the system, and above all...an Honest man! A. Big shout out for ************************************* from Comfort Airz who serviced my Air Conditioner this week. I found him to be very professional and very knowledgeable of the system and he took the time to explain what he was doing and how best to get maximum service from my system. I will continue to use Comfort Airz and ******* when future service is needed. I encourage anyone to give them a call when you need AC work.Review from Haley G

Geno from Comfort Airz just did an annual tune up on our AC system. Over the years I've had multiple companies do a tune up on our system and I've watched each one. By far this one the best and most thorough tune *** on our system. Especially the cleaning of the outside coil and condenser unit on the inside unit. Removing all of the dirt and mold and cleaning of the lines was done much better than any other AC company. Geno is extremely knowledgeable and really spent the time explaining what he did and why it was important. I've never taken an annual maintenance contract on any vendor before because in the past I wasn't impressed with the quality of service. Lastly, their price was also extremely competitive.... but more importantly the quality of work was top notch. I highly recommend giving them a look and ask for Geno.Review from Adrienne S

Comfort Airz I would like to thank ************************* for helping out my friend by donating brand new air conditioner. My friend is on welfare and couldnt afford a new air conditioner. His landlord wouldnt repair the air conditioner for him. So **** stepped up and bought him a brand new air conditioner. He didnt have to do that for a stranger but he did. Turns out he owns an AC company Comfort Airz I think we should make his company go viral. I know that ** going to recommend him to all of my friends and family. You know he has to be a honest businessman to do something as kind as this. My friend had tears running down his face when I gave him the new ac. Turns out that it is his turn to hold bible study tomorrow and he was worried that he would have to cancel it because he had no air conditioning. Thanks again ****. BEWARE!! Company quoted replacement AC price to include Permit Fees >$1200 and a number of other frivolous services. Installation was done by someone who didn't work for the company, despite coming to my home with one of their shirts on. He was inexperienced and it took him two days to just install the indoor/outdoor units; he didn't have the thermostat and was unaware of the other services that I had paid for because he wasn't apart of the original lie. The company didn't expect me to ask for my permit and thus hadn't applied for a permit until I prompted to do so; which makes me wonder if they routinely take out permits despite charging their clients for the peace of mind. Short investigation shows they are tied to *** ***** who previous owned **********, Inc and is a known grifter and convicted felon and they appear to be neighbors. Now prompted they send one of their "actual" employees to review the install job and it took him another two visits only to have my AC not pass inspection by the county. The county inspector pointed out that they had removed a portion of truss from my roof as apparent by the prying of the mending clips and the fact that the piece of wood was coated in sealant and wedged under the new handler. They denied involvement citing they had Pre-install photos to prove their claim that they couldn't provide upon request. My home inspection photos saved me and only once I provided them did they concede and offer a number of refunds (admitting they had fleeced me) and that they would fix everything. So another visit to fix the problem only to have the county fail it once again. I had to force the company to take the county's advice and get an engineer to draw up a repair report. Then the company they hired to make the repair took three trips to my house to follow the engineer's recs. They had to take out another permit for the repair and finally the county approves the installation in total.
