      I purchased a fuel tank from GTO airboats for an Airboat build project, After putting fuel in it I noticed a leak (manufacturer defect)  I contacted  GTO on  4/15/2023 about the leak. GTO responded on 4/17/2023 to bring the tank in for inspection.  I took the tank into GTO on 4/18/2023 where they then sent it out to the Manufacturer. I didnt hear anything so I contacted GTO on 4/30/2023  and no word on the tank at this time is what I was told. I contacted GTO AGAIN after nothing and they responded with still waiting. on 5/3/2023 I was told my tank was back and ready to pick up. After picking up and opening the box that it was in I noticed it had 2 dents in top of it. I contacted GTO  and they said they would see what the manufacturer wanted to do about it.  After back and forth I was told on 5/16/2023 that  they were not going to fix or replace the tank and thats it.  FIRST of all the tank would have never received the dents if it did not have a manufacturing defect in the first place. it would have been safe in my boat.  To pay over 600 dollars for an item, it to be defective and then  not  be repaired or replaced is very poor customer service! I have purchased many items from GTO and was planning on always  purchasing from there until this!

      Customer Purchased Fuel Tank from GTO Airboats on 7/16/2022. Manufacturer provides a one-year warranty from date of Purchase. Customer contacted GTO 4/15/23 to see if Fuel Tank was covered under Warranty. Customer was asked on 4/17/23 to bring Fuel Tank in for Inspection. Customer brought Fuel Tank to GTO 4/18/23, Upon Inspection, Fuel Tank was Shipped to Manufacturer with no Shipping Charge to Customer. Manufacturer Repaired Fuel Tank under warranty and shipped back to GTO at no Shipping Charge to GTO or Customer. Customer was notified Fuel Tank had been repaired and shipped back from Manufacturer. Total Turnaround time for Fuel Tank to be shipped to Manufacturer, Repaired and shipped back for Customer (14 Days Turn around). Customer excepted and picked up Fuel Tank at GTO 5/3/23.
      Customer contacted GTO after he had taken delivery of Fuel Tank and said it had a dent. Customer provided Picture of Fuel Tank (find attached). GTO discussed the Customers concerns with the Manufacturer and Shipping company and was told that since the Customer had made the claim after excepting and taking delivery of Fuel Tank, that claim of dent could not be verified of when or how it occurred..

      I am rejecting this response because: I was given the fuel tank back in a box, I was rushed out the door by the receptionist without being able to even speak with the person I was working with at the time.  As soon as I got home and opened it I seen the dents and contacted them immediately.  This is obviously how they want to conduct business by trying to find a loophole. That is pathetic and bad business practices!
