7/26/23: I brought my 2015 Kia Sportage to this facility for a diagnostic on my vehicle that was shaking slightly while driving. The merchant diagnosed my vehicle and told me I would need my spark plugs and ignition coils changed and they guaranteed me that was the reason my vehicle was shaking. They assured my vehicle was hooked up to the diagnostic sensors and that the vehicle was test drove. I had asked this be done prior. The mechanic explained to me the total for repairs would be around $1,000. 9/11/23: I dropped my car off and the repairs were completed as agreed upon same day. I paid $1,014 for the diagnostic repairs. (Receipt Given) 9/11/23-9/15/23: As soon as I got my car home I noticed it was driving exactly the same. My husband & I attempted to contact the merchant for a refund or a rectification. The merchant explained that they had NOT hooked up my vehicle to their sensors nor test drove it as we had asked. The mechanic blatantly stated, “It could be anything that's wrong with it, you need to take it to the dealership” & refused to rectify the situation. Essentially, repairs were completed that were not needed & were not properly diagnosed. One employee even stated, "you ****** up on this one" to our mechanic. Admitting guilt. 9/15/23: I initiated a dispute with my credit card company for LABOR only. Roughly $150+. 9/17/2323: After several attempts, the merchant agreed to refund me for $800 which he did with my husband present and swiped my card. I then cancelled the dispute. 9/25/23: My same credit card was charged for $800 from Ocoee Tire & Auto without my permission. My card was physically in my possession at the time of the transaction & not at Ocoee Auto. On my statement, the transaction was entered via manually entering my card number. Again, without my permission & without receiving any further services from them. 10/1/23: Confirmed with ******** Credit Card it was not a billing issue and was in fact a fraudulent charge to my credit card.

The mechanic had my vehicle over night. Twice they called to upsell me but still had not put my car on the machine to read the codes. When I spoke to them I asked them if I should bring my car someplace else. I then advised them I wanted them to do nothing and I will pick up my car the next morning. When I went to pick up my car they basically held my key hostage until I paid them for doing nothing. I asked what am I paying for. They could not tell me. They just kept looking at each other. The woman and old man. Nothing was done, I have a witness to this as well. They could not explain anything. I want my money returned.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/04/21) */ vehicle came in with check engine light on with massive oil leaks and quests was told that to find the oil leaks and to diagnose the oil leak it would be 96.00 and she agreed. Upon checking the vehicle they found that the intake was leaking oil. It was recommended a degreasing & cleaning the engine, because the whole top was saturated, and a full tune up with spark plugs, ignition coils and oil and filter because of the amount of oil that was on top of the engines. It was diagnosed and quest was given the information and she indicated that she did not have the funds to do the work. She was charged only for the diag. for the techs time. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/04/26) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) My vehicle never moved from the place I parked it. I was advised that they could not diagnose the vehicle without the degreasing. I then told them to do nothing with the car and I would pick it up. When I went in to pick up the vehicle I was told that "we recommend a complete tune up because of the age of the vehicle" and it did not include the valve cover gasket that I went in and told them needed replacing. I did agree to a complete in depth diagnosis but that was not done. They admitted my car had not been seen by the mechanic -"we are finishing on the work left over from yesterday" is what I was told after they had my care in the lot for over 8 hours. They held my keys hostage until I paid them to do nothing but make suggestions. If I had thought about it, I would have called the police for assistance. Again they did nothing! Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2022/05/12) */ In response to complaint and accusations of not performing diagnostics on her vehicle is false. I have the scan sheet form the diagnostics with the codes found on her vehicle. It was scanned because it came in with the check engine light on and engine covered in oil. Vehicle was put diagnosed in the bay and then placed back where it was parked originally. She was made aware of all the findings and did not want to repair anything. All she was charged for was the diagnostics. She was only charged for the tech time. Our tech don't work for nothing.
