After being charged an exorbitant fee of $300, I discovered the truth about the cost-free alternative directly from the **** which led to an immediate realization of my error.Despite the company's strict no-refund policy, which I begrudgingly acknowledge is laid out in their terms of service, I am left with an overwhelming sense of disappointment and frustration. What compounds my irritation is the anxiety over how my sensitive information might be handled. In an age where data privacy should be paramount, I find myself questioning the integrity of IRS Tax Number and its commitment to customer privacy.To **********************, I demand not just a token acknowledgment of this complaint, but a full assurance that my personal data, which I provided in good faith, will not be commoditized or disclosed to third parties. I expect a complete deletion of my account and personal details from your databases.This experience serves as a cautionary tale for others to be vigilant and to thoroughly investigate service providers before making such commitments. I blame Google for allowing this paid add to be right next to the actual IRS website. This should be a crime.

irs-taxnumber.org is a fake *** website that tricks visitors into paying for a free service from the **** No one answers the phone nor replies to your emails. Their disclosure is full of lies. They should be tracked down and put in jail. The *** should use its' leverage and shut this website down, fine and imprison the owners.

I have paid for a service that I thought was part of the IRS. The site i visited is called, irs-taxnumber.org. After putting in all of my personal information as well as my banking account information, I was charged $279. I am requesting a refund in full at this time. I received an email the next day from irstaxnumber@......com showing an Ein number. I am a new business owner I wasn't aware that you can obtain your EIN for FREE at the time when I made the purchase. I am currently in contact with the IRS to report this abuse of taxpayer information. Additionally i have reported your company to the BBB. your company does not have any live agents or contact numbers to follow-up with. Your company is fraudulently posing as the IRS and should be shut down so that others like myself do not fall victim to this scam. I am requesting a refund in full at this time.

SCAM! There is no need to use this service. They trick you into thinking they are an actual IRS site with IRS logos everywhere. They should be shut down!

Their site looks exactly like the IRS website. We did not realize that they were a third-party until after we put in our Social Security number and then saw that there was a hefty fee for the service. Luckily we did not enter payment information but they have our SSN, which is concerning!
