met with salesman on October 10, 2022 to have screen, screws, and doors replaced for $5,175. Start in 4-6 weeks. Gave them a check for the deposit of $1725 (which was cashed the next day). It is now 13 weeks later and they still haven't started. I think I have been more than patient.Business response

We have completed the project and hopefilly the custmer is very satisfied with the outcome. We have been overwhelmed with jobs since the hurricane and we are trying our best to keep everyone happy.

The agreement was entered with the salesman for Atlantic Coast on March 21, 2022. Atlantic Coast was to remove the existing lattice and replace it with an enclosed screen room with 48-inch double doors in the front. The total cost of work to be performed by Atlantic Coast is $3670. The amount of $2450.00 has been paid to Atlantic Coast with the amount of $1223 payable on completion of the screen room. At the time of signing the contract, we were told it would be 4-6 weeks. We are now going on the 9 weeks and have not gotten the job completed. We have called every day and the same story. So finally we asked for a refund, so we could get someone else to complete the job. They state no refund. However, they have not held up their end of the agreement. I am 68 years old and feel as if I was scammed. This is my last attempt to resolve this before pressing charges. Atlantic Coast has not attempted to resolve the problem, and the Screened room remains incomplete. As I stated- When I call I am given many excuses as to why it is not complete. AT This point I would like a FULL refund of 2450.00 for the trouble of having my time wasted. We would take time off from our business to be home but were no show on many occasions.
