I picked up the rental car late at night. After I drove about 2 miles, the tire warning light came on showing low tire pressure. I went to a gas station and inflated all of the tires to recommended pressure. For the next four days while renting the car the low tire pressure light never came on. When I returned the vehicle after using it, the low pressure tire warning light was Not on. When this company sent me my security deposit, they deducted $40 for a tire repair. I sent them numerous emails describing the above situation but they do not respond. I have already left a review to let other people know not to use this company. I continue to try to get q $40 refund.Initial Complaint

I was referred to the business through budget, as I had flew to ******* to get to my mother who was on life support. I needed a car quickly, and in the middle of the night. They charged my debit card a $300 deposit, on top of the $480 I paid, and will not respond to my emails at this point. I returned the car a day early, with a full tank of gas, and have not received my deposit back. I have a family of 6, and need my deposit back.Initial Complaint

I rented a car with this business from 2/15/2024-2/19/2024. In the rental agreement it says that I would be charged $544.17 plus a $300 deposit. I never really drove the car because my mom ended up coming to ******* also and had an suv which suited us more. So the car was literally drove from the business to the hotel and then the hotel back to return to this business. I also returned it at a full tank. It has been over 3 months and I have not received my deposit back. I have tried to call and email and no response I get automated messages back. I have tried to put a claim through my bank but it gets denied because I have no final receipt from them. I looked at the reviews on ****** and there are many people who have gone through the same thing as me, never having their deposit returned.Initial Complaint

I was Refered to this company by FOX car rental in ******* ******* airport location or near airport. On the phone I could hear the Mirami reps and the fox rep on the phone talking about prices and availability for car rentals. Upon agreeing over the phone I went to the Mirami office where everything that was agreed upon on phone was 100% inconsistent with what was told to me upon check-in. Being it was getting late I still went ahead and rented. Took back the vehicle a day early. Took a video of the rep for Mirami stating that everything is good with the rental. 2 weeks past and I still hadnt gotten back my $300 deposit. They took monies out for a lot of fees thats not even in the contract. They also charged me for tolls that they said was included in the fee (hence why the bill was so high). They refunded me. I then made a review on their website of the horrible experience I encountered. Few hours later I noted a charge on my card. They took the $300 deposit back plus a $500 deposit. Their excuse for the $500 is a SCRATCH the bumper. This company is a total scam and needs to be reviewed. I own a few businesses myself and I have never seen anything so bold, illegal and unconstitutional in my life.Initial Complaint

I paid $360 in cash for a car rental. And $300 Deposit. I returned the car in same condition given. They returned the deposit then reversed the return a few days later so I wouldn't notice and said that the deposit was theirs to keep. This is criminal.Initial Complaint

11/25/2023 ******* ******* Refund for my out of pocket payment for tire change. Car rental company failed to pre inspect vehicle in black and white before renting. Failed to provide rental car with emergency tire kit that all cars should have. Lack of wheel lock, Lug nut remover only jack available. Company proceeded to state it was road damage and shouldnt happen to new car with new tires. Stuff is bound to happen on busy highways of travel. As shown in pictures tire completely popped with no impact to rim or vehicle itself. Business is failing te reimburse my out of pocket money.Customer response

This is the mirami car rental team.
We have all the information about this case.
1. Our cars are inspected prior to each rental. That's why we rent you a car in perfect condition with 4 tires in good condition.
2. Each car has its spare tire and the kit to change it as they come from the dealership.
3. The protection service that includes your rent does not include roadside assistance.
4. Although it didn't include it, we still sent it to roadside assistance but you were no longer there.
5. the protection service does not protect tires, that is explained in paragraph 5 of terms and conditions.
We are very sorry that you had to go through everything you went through but we were not responsible for that, we always try to make our customers have the best possible attention but it is not always the attention and speed that the customer demands. However, we will continue to work to improve every day.

On Friday, August 25th, I rented a car from Mirami car rental which was $660.09. The amount included a $400 deposit. I was also charged a $20.00 toll road fee, which was only $1.50. After returning the vehicle, I was advised of a 30-day wait to receive my $400 deposit. When I questioned the representative as to why I had to wait to receive my deposit, he became very rude and argumentative. My deposit should have been refunded upon returning the vehicle. I simply want my $ 400 deposit, nothing more. This is certainly not how you do business. I would not recommend this company to anyone.Initial Complaint

I rented a car from this company in Florida. I did so because they would allow me to return the vehicle at the airport. When I rented the vehicle I paid $830 for the rental and they charged me an additional $300 deposit. I was assured that the only thing that would come out of my deposit would be if I used toll roads to which I agreed. After I returned the vehicle I noticed that they charged me $122.28 out of my deposit. When I questioned them they said it was the following: -USD 32.48 Use of the highway toll - (Terms and conditions 4) -USD 9.90 Administration Fee -USD 40.00 Missing gas -USD 39.90 Car wash I reached out to them to question the charges because the vehicle was parked 6 out of the 8 days rented so I know the toll road charge is inflated. I have never had to pay for a carwash myself and the fuel level was left at the same level as when I picked it up. I think this company untrustworthy in what they say at time of rental. I read another complaint on this website and saw a very similar situation
