Rented a vehicle through Expedia for 8/30/24-9/6/24. Once arriving at the airport which our flight was delayed but they told me our car was about to be given away and thankfully we made it in time. Once we are picked up by someone in their own personal vehicle to take us off site they play a vidoe that tells me i need to have my insurance declaration page and went on and on talking about additional fees. That was the first red flag to my husband adn I. Once we arrive there is one vehicle that looks like someones personal vehicle that had scratches ands dents all over it adn the place looks like a dump but not a professional office like it was suggested when i booked. Once inside they tell me if i want to use my own insurance i had to email my declaration page to some other companies email address and I would be held ******************************************************** my life. I had paid ****** when I booked the car in Jan and then they tell me there will be all these extra fees which i would need to pay additional ******. At this point we need a car adn if I tried to cancel they would have charged me the entire amount. After being a nervous wreck driving for the week we receive a text with instructions to drop the car off at the airport and all instructions must be followed which we did like leave the car unlocked with the key in it and send a vidow once confirmed so we did. Well then they charge another ***** 8 days after returning the vehicle stating we are responsible for parking which is just a complete slap in the face the the company is a scam. I feel terrible for families that book and think they are getting a deal. ******* should NOT let them advertise on their website. I did call to dispute the charge and they had blocked my phone number so i called from work and they said it was in the contract just pathetic company that just wants to scam people.
