This is the worst bank i have ever been a member of. Was a member for probably 20 years or more. They are fee happy. There were several instances where they would charge an overdraft on account, then charge a fee for being over drafted so double dipping. They don't ever reject a transaction because they want to earn money off their members. There were times when i should have had money in account but the overdraft put me in the negative. They have non existent customer service. They do not post anything over the weekends even if a bill was debited on a Thursday and credited to a payee.Review from Lindy D

I have been a cardholder for 40+ years. I attempted to make a transaction tonight that I knew would flag a fraud alert. When the transaction was denied, I contacted customer service. I was asked the usual questions to confirm my identity, but then I was asked to tell what my most recent payment to them was made, and when. Even after looking that up and telling them, they STILL wanted more information????!!!!???I will be getting a new credit card tomorrow. I have been an obviously NOT valued customer throughout my 40+ years with them, so my loyalty needs to go elsewhere.Review from kelli m

This place used to be decent I was a member for about 5+ years and I still am because they won't allow me to close an account without going into one of their branches and since I am now out of state that won't be happening. I have sent dozens of things to try to have someone close my account and had spoken to all kinds of representatives for the last month. This place is terrible and I can't really advise anyone to use it because of all the stupid stress.Review from James H

Horrible service when it comes to card services. They use a 3rd party company for fraudulent charges obviously in another company with employees not qualified to do much of anything. This 3rd party company credited my account an incorrect amount after a report of fraudlent activity (short of the correct amount), then once informed they proceeded to CHARGE the account for the incorrect amount TWICE instead of crediting their mistake back to the account. So after 3 hrs of phone calls to incompetent employees I was told it would be 2-3 business days before they could credit money that was never disputed in the first place!!! So not only did I have to wait for over a month on money from fraudlent charges, I got charged DOUBLE DURING THE DISPUTE AND HAD TO WAIT TO GET THAT MONEY RETURNED TOO!! What a complete hassle, IF YOU WANT TO GIVE LOANS OUT TO A CARD SERVICES COMPANY WITHOUT KNOWLEDGE AND WAIT ON YOUR MONEY BACK THEN INSIGHT CREDIT UNION IS FOR YOU.Review from RW

Company is horrible at communication. I had a car with them in 2017. I never got any bill payments from them I called when I knew my bill was due and they said I should have gone online to pay bills and set up my account. They charged me all kind of fees becuase i never paid ontime for the first payment. Now in November of 2021 i changed my insurance company and they are saying I was not covered and are charging me $120 for a laspe in insuarnce even though i never had one. They keep on sending me to different deparments where they say they can't help me.
