I just purchased a Harley Davidson motorcycle and I was guaranteed by the dales manager that my payment was going to be below $500, that was my only condition and shook his hand in front of my sales representative. I just got my first invoice and it's $533.01. It's not a crazy amount, but it's not what we agreed on. I never signed a paper with these numbers, they just got my "electronic signature" saying that I did. I honestly would rather take it back, I need help please.

      Good afternoon!

Wanted to reach out to someone regarding this complaint! There are several steps throughout the process where the clients payment is disclosed and agreed upon. Also, every customer that finalizes any type of paperwork is required to sign on their exact payment amount upwards of 5 separate times. It is possible that once in the finance office, extra protections were purchased which would likely increase the monthly payment amount, but in this event, the new payment would also be disclosed a number of times before agreeing upon and signing. I am simply wondering if I should respond to the customer via the respond option, if I should upload any supporting documents, or if we can simply have the complaint removed for the customer has every copy of signed and agreed upon paperwork that we do as a dealer? Please advise what the next best step would be.

      Best,

*** responded to this complaint via this link twice now. At this time I will repeat one time, and one time only. The payment is not only disclosed, but signed on specifically several times along with total amount financed and total amount of payments. These are disclosed prior to entering finance, and an additional 5-6 times throughout signing official legal binding documents. We will be taking no action regarding this case

Was told purchasing a motorcycle at a 14% interest rate and 72 month term. Paperwork indicates a higher interest rate and number of payments. Attempted to resolve directly with Harley but they refusing to provide answers or assist me. Seeking help with a resolution. Fee completely scammed by the organization. I had a pre-approval elsewhere and was conned into financing directly with them.

After being denied for financing online on 3/28, they reached out to say they'd get me financed if I came there with my ID & paystubs. After driving 2.5 hours to get there on 3/29, I explained that my vehicle got repo'd during the pandemic, & my Transunion credit score was 530. Nonetheless they told me that I was approved for financing. The sales manager showed me 2 different funding options the lender would allow hand-written on the back of an envelope; 1) the used bike I asked for- Purchase Price: $14,388 @ $696 per month or 2) New HD Sportster S -(after figuring in the discounts & promotions) Purchase Price: $13,000 @ $596 per month. They asked me to sign my name under the offer I chose, which was the brand new bike. Then I was told that I could drive the bike home once I made my down payment & agreed the contract. The finance manager showed me the actual contract on his computer & asked me to pay the $3,100 down payment & agree to the terms of the contract, which I did. Afterwards he said I'd have to come back the next day to pick up the bike after the bank re-opened. Noon the next day 3/30 they told me to start driving there. They called again & said it was a good idea for me to have a co-signer. I explained that I had someone, but he had just suffered multiple compound fractures to his femur, hip, wrist, & hand, so it would be quite painful & difficult for him to get there. They insisted it was the only way that I could complete my purchase, so I picked him up from the hospital & drove 3hrs to get there. From our car, we were presented with a contract that only afterwards I realized wasnt the same contract & it wasnt in my name. The purchase price was changed to $19k from $13k & had $6k in add ons they said the bank required. The manager told me that it was because of the banks fees to HD & that it was unavoidable. The bank said that was a lie. We still don't have the bike. They are trying to take advantage of a severely injured man, who's a Veteran.

Purchased used bike, with extended warranty and because the part was installed by previous owner it is not cover. Should this be the case why sell the extended warranty? **************** is horrible employees need customer service training.
