We purchased a brand new 2021 Lexington Tritoon for $60,000. Because of the high cost, I put bow to ***** warranties and insurance on it. In 2022, the entire front floor of the boat became nothing but rotted mush. This boat has been dry-docked all of its existence and only has less than 40 hours on it. The local dealership closed, so I called Lexington Boats in ****. They couldn't locate us! When they finally did about a week later, they couldn't find our warranties! They finally found everything and told me to call **** at the ****** location. I tried for weeks to get ahold of ****, he was either on the road or out of the office. I finally spoke with his wife, and she got in touch with him. He asked my name, etc. He said he would call back. He never did. I called him. He said he couldn't find us or the warranties. This went on for 2 months. Finally, he told us to bring the boat to the shop. We drove the hour there and dropped it off. He said he would call back later that day. Two weeks later, I finally got ahold of him. He said the "Full" warranty is only valid for 2 years, and my bow to ***** doesn't cover the floor! It would cost about ****** to repair it! I don't have that kind of money when I'm practically paying a mortgage on my NEW boat! I can't even use it and haven't for nearly 2 years now!

We are sorry that the Lambs are having issues with their Lexington. While the warranty is clear and floor coverage has expired, we have offered to replace it with a Thermoplastic upgrade, at a considerably discounted price. Our gesture was not favorably received, but we stand ready to attempt to resolve this to their satisfaction..

I am rejecting this response because:

They want to charge me $5,000! I don't have that kind of money, because I'm paying the payments on a $60,000 two year old boat I can't use. I want them to take it back or fix at no cost.

      Sincerely,

We bought a boat for them back in April of last year and we paid 2800 extra dollars to have the toons on the boat painted black. Immediately after receiving the boat before it was ever put in the water the paint started peeling off. We purchased a warranty for the paint at an additional $1500. We were promised by both a salesman and the manager that there was no need to have a trailer that they would do all of our maintenance and off there was any warranty work they would trailer our boat for us. Since then both employees have been fired. The paint was done by an outside source and we did not want to have the paint redone because it was done completely wrong so we asked for our money back on the paint and the money back for the warranty. We've been dealing with the maintenance tech from the shop for the past year and about three months ago he was told to give us the corporate lawyers number. We talk to the corporate lawyer and she talked to the owners and they asked what we wanted. We told them we wanted all the money refunded for the paint and the warranty. They came back with a number $1500. Which is half of what they would owe us. The lawyer recommended that we bargain with him and ask for the original money that we paid back. It has been two months now since we had a counter offer and they are no longer calling us back or answering our calls.
