I'm a real estate investor who lives in New York. My family and I own about 23 properties in the Port Charlotte area affected by Hurricane Ian. Jeffrey and The Homeowner's Advocate were recommended to us by our regional property manager as he had been helping other clients of her's. He ended up completing 13 claims for my family and every single one of them was a Slam Dunk. He even put together an entire spreadsheet of all of our properties to see how we were performing over the portfolio. I am extremely happy with the results amd very happy we found him. My house sustained major hurricane damage. The Insurance company settlement check wasn’t enough to cover the materials, leave alone the labor. Their adjusters would not return my phone calls or emails. After hiring The HomeOwners Advocate I didn’t have to contact the insurance adjusters again. The process takes time, but Jeffrey Von Stein was like a pit bull and kept going after the insurance company. He recovered enough money to completely repair my house and to cover my living expenses while the house was being repaired. I am a DIYer, but there was no way I could have fought the insurance company on my own. I hope I never need to go through this again, but if I do I’d hire The HomeOwners Advocate in a heartbeat!

I was referred to The HomeOwner's Advocate from a contractor who knew they were professional and very good at what they do. I had Insurance with State farm and had heard that they were difficult to deal with on claims, so I needed help. They were able to complete a very professional and very detailed estimate of all the damages that I could see and some I couldn't notice. In addition, they didn't just go away just after the first check was issued. They worked very hard through the entire process to get everything I deserved or was owed by helping me with recoverable depreciation. I was referred to Jeffrey Vonstein of The HomeOwners Advocate by our property manager early in the process. I was told that if we didn't get him early, he might be full of clients. I am so happy he was able to help us. Citizens offered us essentially zero money on their initial offer. Jeff was able to force them to be reasonable. He was able to document much more damage than we weren't even aware of. We had a renters policy so we were limited in our coverage, however, at the end of the day, he was able to get the majority of the compensation we needed to do all our repairs. We were referred to Jeffrey Vonstein of The HomeOwners Advocate as a highly regarded and successful Public Adjuster. He far exceeded our expectations. He even went to the island by boat before the bridge was operable to investigate and evaluate our significant property damage after Hurricane Ian. We had both a WIND claim and a FLOOD claim. Our Wind carrier didn't want to pay as they were blaming most of the damage on the Flood. Jeffrey was able to pin them down and force them to be reasonable, ultimately through the appraisal process. He kept telling us to trust his process and only judge him after the end result. It was a lot more difficult than it should've been, but he and his team Got Results!! We were referred to Jeffrey VonStein of The HomeOwner's Advocate from a few of our friends on the island he was already working with. Our insurance carrier was absolutely abysmal in their initial offer, and we knew we needed professional help. Boy, did we make the right decision. Jeffrey explained that there were many avenues our claim could go, and he was prepared for each scenario. He kept saying, trust my process. He was able to extract significantly more funds on the supplement offer and then recommended we consider the appraisal process as there was still a significant amount not covered. At the end of the day, after supplement, after appraisal, we ended up with a significant overall settlement that i was extremely satisfied with. When Hurricane Ian hit, we knew we needed professional help. We interviewed several local Public Adjusters and decided to hire Jeffrey Vonstein and The HomeOwners Advocate to represent us not only on our home claim, but also our two rental properties. Each one of these 3 claims had their own specific challenges, but Jeffrey was able to navigate through all of them with three different carriers to help us get a fair estimate. At times, the process was slow and agonizing, but Jeffrey did his best to keep us informed and kept his promise that we should trust his process. His process was successful in getting three fair and reasonable settlements. "I was referred to Jeffrey Von Stein of The HomeOwner's Advocate from a HOA President of an Apartment Complex he was representing as well. I had a couple rental properties in Pensacola. One of them had a tree crush its roof and my property was unrentable. Jeffrey was able to get my policy maximum on my claim. My only wish was that my policy limits were higher. He could've gotten much more. He also helped me with verifying that a tree removal guy was legit. Jeffrey goes beyond what a regular public adjuster does as he helps to qualify contractors as well.
