This dealership wasn't competent with completing a registration for my newly acquired used vehicle. The tag transfer wasn't completed right away, therefore leaving me without a new registration and updated tag for my vehicle. This is serious, as I could have had my license suspended or not been able to drive my car as the temp tag has expired! My Finance Manager A. B*** was not on top of this early on, but only tried to correct his mistake after I called and texted him, my sakes agent and the used car sales manager several times. I also had to have my car taken to the dealership in South Florida, as I it needed to have major repairs done to my vehicle after only having it in my possession for less than a month! CVT Transmission, battery, filters, flushing, a new pump, and they also needed to replace the back brakes!! (I was insured), but the point is why did I need to use it within 3 weeks of purchasing my vehicle? Why would they sell me a car that they had not repaired and inspected prior to selling it to a consumer??!! I would NOT RECOMMEND PURCHASING A VEHICLE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!! MY EXPERIENCE has been time consuming, and highly frustrating. Managers passing my problem on to others with NO RESOLUTIONS! Highly unprofessional, and disappointing to say the least. The only bright side is the my sales agent was polite and wonderful to work with. She was caught off guard by all of this as well, which means they didn't clearly communicate with her either(New to the company). I am.still waiting for my permanent tag and car registration as I type this review(complaint).

Lacking Integrity. Autonation toyota Pinellas Park/salesman **** ****** and ***** ****** Buyer beware I recently purchased a 2024 Toyota Tundra from **** ****** at Autonation toyota Pinellas Park. While test driving this truck I asked *** ****** if there were any issues or problems with these trucks. He said "no". Fast forward 5 days later after paying for seat covers and Window tinting I found out that toyota is having problems with these specific engines and "debris " in them. *** ****** absolutely knew they were having issues he's been in sales with toyota for 22years how could he or the dealership not know and disclose this info. I ABSOLUTELY would NOT have purchased this truck. Now this truck only has 130 miles and is not having problems at the moment I get to drive it everyday and wonder about the reliability and dependability of my "new" truck. Overall I believe toyota will stand behind any possible issues, but are they going to be the ones standing by it on the side of the road waiting for a tow truck if it does. If this is OK behavior than Autonation and **** ****** are for you. If not well run. Sincerely **** * and my new truck with absolutely no resale value. Cause toyota knows it my take a crap. Below is the info regarding these trucks. ******************************************* ******************************************* *As of June 4, 2024, Toyota has recalled around 102,000 2024 Toyota Tundra trucks due to engine debris that could cause the engine to stall and lose power. Toyota is developing a remedy for the issue and plans to notify owners by late July 2024. In the meantime, if a hybrid Tundra has engine failure, the powertrain may still provide limited output, and the vehicle will display visual and audio warnings."Review from Rachel P

I have purchased 7 vehicles through this dealership over the last 20 years and will never be purchasing another vehicle with them again. I originally took in my vehicle because it was making an abnormal sound when turning. When putting the vehicle on the lift to check it out, they scratched my drivers side door. They took ownership of the scratch and said theyd take care of it however, little did I know that it would turn into a six month ordeal and absolute nightmare. The Service Manager, *****, never answers the phone or returns phone calls. Hes rude and disrespectful and should definitely not be in the customer service field. The Service Director, ******, although not as rude as *****, he does not return phone calls either after multiple voicemails left. The General Manager ******, didnt answer the phone when I tried to call him nor did he respond to any of my emails. They dont take accountability for their actions, ***** lies through his teeth, and none of these three should be in customer service let alone a managerial position. Even after it was all said and done, not one of these three ever said Im sorry. Not one apology from any of them after numerous s**** *** on their part. Highly disappointed with their lack of communication, kindness, common courtesy, and poor customer service.Review from Joseph T

I purchased my truck here 17 years ago and have had all my service done here. Had battery, oil change, some filters replaced and battery cable ends replaced. Quoted price and approved work. Service advisor calls me and say headlight bulb is burnt out and said go ahead and replace it since it was there, even though I had one in the glove box, never quoted a price. When I picked it up saw I was charged $43 for the bulb...which was high but then I saw the $159.99 labor charge! It literally take 2 minutes to change the bulb if you have never done it before. I tried to discuss with service advisor Hope, no go. Called Steve service manager and he said that's the going rate....so 2 minutes to install a $5 bulb costs $203 at this location. Goodbye AutoNation Toyota!Review from Dennis W

The Collision shop is a total mess they will tell you everything but the truth when working on your vehicle i was told that my vehicle would be ready in three days after waiting 3 weeks for them to finish the job. Called back again and was told that the car was ready to pick up that afternoon. Then i received a phone call 10 minutes later telling me they do not know when the car would be ready because they were waiting on parts. Very poor customer service. They have had multiple excuse's ****** was fired then waiting on parts They cannot seem to get their story straight. I also tried talk to the General ****** and was given multiple excuse's why i cannot talk to her.Review from Federico G

Do not purchase a used vehicle from this dealership. Purchased a certified pre owned vehicle from this dealership 30 days ago and have been in 5 times for issues with vehicle. Vehicle is unsafe to drive. Service department cannot figure out what is wrong with vehicle and is unwilling to work with us on trading in for a different vehicle. Continuing to escalate the situation until we are provided resolution.Review from Jennifer D

I have had the worst experience ever with AutoNation Toyota Pinellas Park. The men that work in the used sales department are rude and condescending to women and Hispanics. I purchased a 2018 Nissan Pathfinder with only 51,800 miles. I had it in their service department two weeks after purchase because it was smoking bad out of exhaust. Turns out it has engine problems/ sludge build up from previous owner. They refuse to exchange the defective vehicle saying they would repair the problem under the 90 day warranty. Two and a half months later the problem hasn't been resolved and now are saying they refuse to change motor because it was damaged and only offered one third of what I paid them to trade it back in. I acknowledge that buying used "as is" is risky but this vehicle should have never been placed for sale to begin with! If they had inspected the engine as they state they do it would have been obvious that it had problems.
