      I purchased a Groupon for Angel Eyes Esthetics for a deluxe heaven facial back in October 2021. The Groupon expires April 24, 2021. I made an appt with the owner of the shop, Angel H., which she decided to cancel 20 min before my set appointment time. I called the shop to find out why and she explained she is having contract issues with Groupon and will not accept my Groupon. I asked for a refund which she can not supply and either can Groupon. Angel then proceeded to hang up the phone on me and wouldn't answer back to give me any kind of explanation on why I will not be receiving a service I already paid for. Very unprofessional and I have wasted gas, money, and time on this unprofessional and money stealing business. This climate is rough and her business taking money with no services exchanged is wrong.

      Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/04/07) */ Contact Name and Title: Karis H. owner Contact Phone: 8138626066 Contact Email: *****@angelesty.com I spoke with Ms. ***** on Saturday 4/2/22 she advised that she had a Groupon voucher I preceded to advise her that due to contractual issues I was unable to accept the Groupon voucher however I would honor the price paid to Groupon paid to me for the services booked! She insisted that she was to use the Groupon voucher due to it being near its expiration I again reiterated that I would not accept the voucher! In the sake of peace of mind and not wanting to have any further dispute with the customer I canceled the appointment on Saturday 4/2/22. Ms ***** called me extremely irate on Tuesday 4/5/22 about 20 minutes prior to her cancelled appointment time. She was extremely combative and demanded an explanation I stated again why the appointment was cancelled! As she continued to berate me the call was disconnected due to service being minimal in my area I have not received any payment as no service was provided I apologized via text for the disconnection as well extended and offer to correct the issue as she stated she received the cancellation text 20 minutes prior to the appointment which would be an issue with my booking application which is beyond my control! She declined and advised me to have the day I deserve! I accepted accountability and expressed that she have a blessed day! I pride myself as a service provider in the beauty industry to provide each client with a heavenly experience while I strive to satisfy all I understand that some may not be happy with my services! I have the right as a business to decline services I am deeply saddened that this complaint was file with the intent to tarnish ethics of my business! I can assure that I have not receive ANY PAYMENT from the customer and do not wish to do any further business with her the future! Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/04/11) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) This business owner is still not taking accountability for her actions. If she would like to blame me for being "irate" for her canceling my appointment 20 min before and having me waste my gas for a service I paid for and did not receive then that is fine. I will not be using her services and I hope no one else will either. Don't offer Groupons if you can't honor them to the laying customer. She is a very unprofessional business owner. Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2022/04/11) */ I will kindly reiterate I DID NOT RECEIVE PAYMENT FROM THIS CUSTOMER I have requested to be removed from Groupon since September in addition I advise everyone who purchases a voucher with them to request a refund! Never have a I had an issue with any other customer who found me on Groupon in addition I know for a fact I canceled her well before her appointment time Saturday 4/2/22 she was scheduled for 4/5/22 ! I am not sure how to resolve this when she is insistent to tarnish the reputation of my business I handled the situation very cordially along with this complaint this customer is STILL calling my phone! I would like to close this complaint as soon as possible as I have done everything within reason! Again I no longer wish to have her as a client or customer and I wish her the best in her future endeavors!
