I was supposed to purchase a car from this business, I made a deposit of $9000. Every time I call to find out when the car would be ready theres always an excuse. I was scheduled to pick up the car Monday, September 1 On August 30, which is on a Saturday I reach out to the individual to find out what time Im supposed to go pick up the car. He proceeded to tell me that the initial cost that we agreed on he no longer wants to sell it Cause he wants to Raise the price of the car. I told him no we have a contract that says ****** and thats all the money I can afford. He said he will not sell it for that price, so I asked him to give me back my deposit and hes refusing to give me back my depositBusiness response

My office manager dealt with this customer in reference to purchasing 2 vehicles. He explained to the customer that if she wanted to purchase 2 vehicles he would give her a discount on both in which she agreed and a deposit of $9,000 was made being $4,500 per vehicle. She called back a few days later stating that she no longer wanted both vehicles but only one. He informed her that if she wanted to only purchase one vehicle, it would be more as the deal was conditional based on the purchase of 2 vehicles and he had already started the process of purchasing both upon receipt of the deposit.
The customer complained and was disgruntled about having to pay more for the purchase and no longer wanted any of the vehicles in which the police got involved and informed her that we had the right to do so as the original agreement was not held up on her end. She got upset and wanted to cancel the purchase of the vehicle altogether which was fine. At that time she was told that she needed to fill out a refund form stating that she no longer wanted the vehicles and would require a refund. She never came to do so and didn't want to communicate thus resulting in her making a complaint and not allowing a resolution to be completed.

I am rejecting this response because: everything he said is false. I did not deal with the office manager, I dealt with the owner of the vehicle directly( Mr.*****) ***** signing the agreement I called Mr. ***** two days later to inform him that I could no longer afford to purchase two car I can only afford to purchase one. He was upset, but nowhere in the conversation did he mentioned that the deal was based on the deal and that he would raise the price, when we negotiate on the price it was due to the condition of the car and that alone. One of the car was missing a side mirror and had internal problem that he needed to fix.the other vehicle had a rebuilt title, the front light needed to be fix, as well as the car bumper where the car was hit during the accident, it was never because we were purchasing two cars. if that was the case, we would have to have it in writing again stating that both party agree to the new price, There was no document stating that.***** informing that I no longer wanted two cars, he said OK no problem. He would let us know when the other car is ready. He proceeded on the delaying the car for weeks b, making excuses stating that he was not in town and the mechanic that was fixing the car was in *******. Finally, after waiting for a month, we finally had enough and told him that he has to give us the car as soon as possible. I was scheduled to pick up the car on Monday, I called him on Saturday to find out where will I be picking up the car,Thats when he proceeded on saying that he would raise tho price; So I said no, that was not what we agreed upon there was no document stating that You would raise the price.
I said I no longer wanted the car anymore because I couldnt afford him raising the price and I want a refund. He never said to come sign a paper for the refund, He actually said that he would take off $900 if he was going to refund the money. There is no text message nor email address that State that he asked me to come into the office to sign a refund document. I also find it strange that I need to sign a document just to give the person back their money.
Sincerely,
