We entered into a contract to build our house in 05/21 with PSL Custom Properties. We are currently in month 21 and our house is still not complete. - July 2021 Informed of an environmental permit that they forgot about and we had to pay $2500 out of pocket for. -They waited till August of 2021 to submit our permit paperwork . Permit was not issued until February 22, 2022. County staff said PSL Properties would not return their calls to fix plans.-March of 2022. We had to pay $4,960 out of pocket for extra fill dirt. They said that they estimated 30 loads of dirt but they said it took 61.-The roof went on in November of 2022. Immediately after the shingles were installed, we noticed vertical buckling or rippling of the shingles on the roof,. When we asked if we should be concerned, ***************************** informed us No not at all, the house is full of moisture at this time, When ac is running all will be pulled out Two licensed roofers and the *** Building Inspector all disputed this claim -Water pump and water softener supposed to be in garage. I called multiple times to remind them. Never returned my calls. -Through this entire process we can never get a hold of anyone and when we try no call backs, or emails or **** is in a meeting.- Told to sign for building draws but never allowed in the house to see if work was done. -We had to refinance at the 18 month **** and pay another $10,000 in new closing costs. I want my house completed with a screen porch. I also want my roof fixed. I want any money I owe him at this time for sod, dirt or anything else considered paid. I also will be bringing my own inspector to the final walk through. I want all things the inspector points out to be fixed. I want this all complete and to be ************ no later than February 22nd, 2023 (one year after permit was issued). I want a detailed written schedule of when these things will be done. Frankly, PSL Properties should be paying my refinancing costs.

We signed a contract with Port Saint Lucie Properties April 4, 2021 to build a house on our property. Our building loan was approved in August of 2021. At that time the owner promised, among other things, that the house would be ready to move in by no later than March of 2022. Since then we have experienced nothing but excuses for work not being finished in a timely manner. The foundation and framing went up pretty fast, but nothing since then has been done in a professional, timely, or orderly manner. They claim all construction had to stop because they forgot to order a walk in tub as an example of their nonsensical excuses. That delay took over 2 months. During that time nothing was done. The tubs were available at at Lowes or ********** within less than a week. We have been given every lame excuse in the book for not finishing or even working on our house. They fired the supervisor and electrician in charge of our house. Measurement mistakes were made on the siding. And nothing has been going on in a straight line planned manner. We are now on our third build loan extension and have until March 1, 2023 to have the house finished, ready to occupy, and the final loan papers signed. If not, we have to reapply for a completely new mortgage with all of the costs and hassles associated with that. We would like the lender, ********* Bank, to give them a nudge but they have been of no help. We feel helpless here, as Port Saint Lucie Properties gives us nothing but what seem as lies and excuses. We really cannot afford the costs and higher interest rates of a new mortgage. I am on home hemodialysis and my wife is my medical assistant. This added stress is making my health deteriorate further from what we were hoping to be a joyful experience. It's been three weeks since any work at all has been done on our house. We need help. I have other documentation such as "draw" payments if needed

Contracted to build a house with PSLP on 8/4/21. The draw contract stated that the completion is about 5 months from slab pour. Slab was poured March 19th 2022 which means the contract was to complete the house by September 19th, 2022. We are now 4 months past the due date on the house. The date keeps moving further and further out with no explanation as to why the date keeps getting moved. The contractor is also in violation with the *** rules which requires the house to be completed within 6 months of breaking ground. Breaking ground occurred on 2/26/2022 which means the house should have been completed by 8/26/2022 to be in compliance. These delays have caused additional costs to us by having to extend rental of our temporary housing, extended storage fees and attorney fees trying to see what our options are.We have repeatedly tried to get information and have had to work with them to keep moving on several issues they have had to resolve to keep them moving. We feel we have given them more than enough time to complete the house. If the contractor cannot provide a detailed schedule of completion in a timely manner on all items outstanding we are considering terminating the existing contract and complete the work ourselves.

I had signed a contract for a new home build with St Lucie Properties on 5/21 and closed on my property on 9/21. Pt St Lucie Properties started to build on 2/22. They have a website to view the progress which never works. I took out a mortgage with their bank and had to extend the loan two times they didnt finish in the time frame. There is no communication of progress. I had wanted an in floor outlet put in the family room its in the contract and on the floor plan. I wrote to the owner in 4/22 and was told it would be put in. It wasnt and they tiled the floor in the family room without putting it in. I told them again and the owner called me to see where I want to have the floor outlet I told him where I wanted it and asked **** he he oversees the work he said no he has 153 houses he is building. My floor is ripped up and no outlet put in. The light boxes in each bathroom is no centered and has to be moved and put up higher. The mirrors in each bathroom is not fitting correctly and I said to either put in smaller mirrors even oval or round so it will fit. No response. Also the toilets are not centered and has to be fixed. No fixtures outside put up, coach lights, entry light, ************, pendant lights, chandelier all not hung. The sod they put down is dead. I went with this company they had a good rating I was so happy to have a new house built I saved money for this and now Im not happy. Nothing but problems with this company there is more problems I didnt put in this letter. I had written to my superintendent on Monday 1/9/23,Tuesday 1/10/23, Wednesday 1/11/23 and Thursday 1/12/23 and she hasnt responded back. She is the third superintendent of this build. People please run do not sign a contract with this company there is always someone sick or death in family and no communication. Please finish my house its over a year and a half.Thank you
