A large designer planter was broken by the movers. It is on a stand and it is the other half of a pair of planters. I can no longer use the two planters as planned. Cost $800 each A large light as part of a standing fixture is missing. Cost $1500. A number of items missing from my drawer, Amazon fire tablet, fire stick, and noise eliminating headset. $850 I called ******** at the company and filed a claim immediately. Subsequently, I have called the company a number of times as well as sending an email. There has been no response. The mover even reflected the broken planter on the receipt.I would like reimbursement immediately.Business response

I received a call from the customer and I informed her to make sure she goes through everything when she got back into town. Her initial contact was only concerning a broken planter, she never mentioned any other items missing. I mailed her a claim form to complete once she was done unpacking. I have not received the claim form back or any emails describing any issues. I will mail & email another claim form for her to complete so we can begin that process. She did not purchase additional insurance for her move, therefore she is only covered at the 60 cents per pound on her signed contract.Initial Complaint

I sold my home in ********** and my realtor recommended Devries Moving & Storage Solutions. I had to pay $300 to hold the moving dates 6/1 and 6/2/23 for my 4 mile move. Devries changed my dates last minute to 6/2 and 6/3 which then became a Friday and Saturday weekend move. The assigned 3 men team were new to each other and the team was nonstop fighting and loudly cursing at loading and unloading at each location. ****, the driver and ******* was trying to keep the team together but he failed. I had thought that **** was a man of integrity but he didn't keep his word to finish the job. I am filing this complaint because the team did not finish the move itself and dumped a lot of furniture and boxes into the garage, instead of carrying the boxes into the specified rooms. They left me hanging with an unfinished move and some open safety concerns which they didn't fix to this date. I called the company several times but they never called me back and ***** never stopped by to inspect the situation as he promised. There is no integrity with this company. I am over 65 years old and they left me with an unfinished move. My bed furniture was not reassembled, my Bowflex is still sitting in the garage unassembled, and a furniture bridge is still unsecured and a major safety concern. My pleas for help to send one man for 30 mins to fix the unsecured items went unanswered and Devries stopped taking my calls. Devries did not finish their job to this date and their management doesn't care! Needless to say that they increased their original estimate by $300!Business response
