Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2022/04/18) */ To Whom It May Concern: I (John Doddato) have been in contact with Mr *********** through the whole process. Mr.****** contacted me to install a18kw Generator with 200amp transfer switch last year 2021. He informed me that he didn't care if the homeowners association or county issue a permit he needed it installed ASAP it was a life safety requirement. Later he contacted me and said that the homeowners association was giving him a hard time and needed a permit. Although this was NOT part of the job he hired me to do, I did try to help him by get a permit. I filed for a permit and uploaded all the documentation, installation requirements and wiring schematics. I also helped answer all the homeowners association questions necessary to get them off his back. The county unfortunately takes their sweet time reviewing permit applications. I had called the county numerous times to get an update, all they could tell me is that the permit was in review. I informed Mr****** where the county was on process and that we were at their mercy. I also informed him that he is more than welcome to call the county himself to try and speed up the process or ask any additional information from them himself. I provided him with the permit number (************************************************) unfortunately he was giving the run around also. Later Mr****** finally got someone to call him back (NOT going to mention names for fear of retaliation) and then that inspector reached out to me. Osceola county inspector (NOT going to mention names for fear of retaliation) has apologized for the long process and said he would personally get it taken care of with no additional cost or information needed by me, if I would send him a copy of the installation requirements to his personal email, which I did on 3/25/22 @ 3:55pm, and several weeks have passed and still no permit. At this point this falls on Mr****** for not going through the proper procedure from the beginning. I did what I was hired to do and I have gone WAY above and beyond the call of duty. Please let me know if there is anything else I can assist with, John Doddato
