I walked to Salem's to get food. I walked back home and my food wasn't right and missing items. I placed a call to the manager who said that they would replace when I could make it back up there. We haven't recently been in a hurricane and I didn't have the ability to get there til today. The manager was very rude and didn't not replace my food or offer my refund as they should have. My receipt was taken and I was told I would be called later to walk back up there to have my food replaced. This is simply unacceptable of a restaurant where I spent my hard earned money.Initial Complaint

On 7/30/22 I went to Salems gyro at 1701 34th st south, st Pete, do 33711 around 11:06 PM quoted by the two receipts. I live in Clearwater without a car or knowing how to drive so my mum took me there for food. We went in her car and through their drive through. We ordered bone out wings with honey bbq, 2 sides of veggies, 1 sides of grilled seasoned shrimp for myself and 1 order of wings and 1 order of veggies and another meal for my mum. We had to wait over 10 minutes for the food to be ready. We went inside and the crew forgot 1 side of veggies for my mum meal. They acted like robots, numb, unprofessional, rude, hostile, and unapologetic. We waited 10-15 more minutes for that to be ready. So I have another receipt for 11:13 pm. I opened my food and didn't like how they cooked it along with the terrible service I didn't want to eat it. I immediately went back into the restaurant to return only my order. I had to wait literally 30 minutes for someone at the grill to come to the register to refund the money back to my card. Once the guy is there he said he can't refund it only the store manager can do it so I have to return on Monday. He didn't ask to replace the food and he didn't offer cash as refund. I told him I don't have transportation to come back to stpete and I work throughout the day remotely at home. I stayed for an extra 30-45 minutes around midnight or 1 am trying to get a refund and trying to get the store managers phone number . The crew refused to help me and ignored me. I went to the suncoast app but I had to wait until Monday after th charges finished pending to create a dispute. I didn't take that food home with me but they kept my money. I added these details in the dispute and after only ONE DAY suncoast messaged me in the app without any details as to why they have to decline my dispute so I need to talk to the merchant. After I literally told them the merchant refused to return my money after I handed the food back to them. So now I'm reportinBusiness response

Business Response /* (1000, 12, 2022/08/27) */ I was notified by my staff that a customer was extremely upset and was trying to get a refund for a food simply because it didn't look right although her mother purchased from us .Staff had to call the cops since Ms. ***** THROW the food twice , 1- at a 16 years old young man (his lower back) and 2- at another employees but the bag fell on the floor .I watched the video and Ms. ***** was using inappropriate language towards the staff which led them to completely ignore her until police arrives. ONE customer had kids and had to cover there ears to avoid listing to all the inappropriate language from Ms. ***** .As I said before ,Cops were called ,they arrived right after Ms. ***** left the restaurant, A report was filled , I was contacted by the police department to give them the video .Now since I have the full customer information , I foreword it to the detective who is working the case . Ms ***** is not welcomed at our store nor can communicate with any staff member while the case is open . Consumer Response /* (3000, 14, 2022/08/31) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) The cops were not called at all. I was there for 2 hours no cops were called, no cops came to restaurant, I have never been contacted by cops. The store manager is again lying. Also my mum DID NOT purchase the food. I used all of my money to purchase the food. She didn't want the food but ate it before I could walk back to the restaurant to return it. The kids that were at the front DID NOT COVER THEIR EARS. I talked to them and they actually hated the staff that were at the front. Along with 2 black ladies that came to the front they also screamed at the black girl that was working behind the counter because of their lack of customer service. No customer was satisfied that night. So again the store manager is a liar. I returned the food due to poor customer service and the food was disgusting. If they really wanted to resolve thing they could've just gave me a refund as cash. They refused to help me and my mum even when we were being patient and nice FOR TWO HOURS. I will contacting the president of Salems and I've already sent files to federal business to report the staff along with the store manager for stealing money from me. If you'd like to go to court then let's go
