Ideal Auto Glass (Sanford, FL) came out on 03/01/2023 to replace the windshield on my brand new RAM 2500 after it was damaged beyond repair. After much research into local glass shops, I chose Ideal Auto Glass due to their stellar online reviews and Liz’s (answered the phone in the office) knowledge and assistance. Liz was super thorough, listened to me explain previous terrible windshield replacements/repairs with other companies (you know the ones, they have a bad jingle about repair and replace, blah, blah, blah) and answered all of my questions. She explained the process, took care of everything with my insurance company while I was on the phone, and made sure everything was in place. Liz sourced the factory OEM glass for my truck (don’t listen to competitors telling you their aftermarket glass is the “same except for the stickers” because that is **) and set the appointment for an at-home mobile repair less than a week later. When it was time for the repair, Rico and Ed came out to my home, listened to my many concerns and worries about my vehicle as I am very particular, and assured me they were the right guys for the job. They were patient, detail-oriented, cautious and I really got the feeling they both took pride in their work. At the end of the replacement they explained the warranty coverage, answered additional questions I had, and walked the vehicle with me while I looked over every inch. I have every reason to believe they are both highly skilled, well trained, and provided a quality repair. While I still want to give my new windshield time to settle in, at this point, I am quite comfortable saying that I would highly recommend Ideal Auto Glass and would rate them 5/5 stars. Rico, Ed and Liz are all fantastic, and you should request them for glass repair or replacement without question! Additional Note: I do wish they were BBB accredited, however. Regardless, their A+ rating and their thousands of reviews on ****** and Facebook speak for themselves!
