      I bought this policy with a loan from One Main about a year ago and have never tried to use it until today. My son, driving my car that I own, had a dead battery. I called to get jump service. I was willing to go to where he was at with my car, just a mile away. They said I would have to pay for it entirely myself because it was not covered because it was for my son not me. It is my car, I can be there when they come, if I'd never told them about my son, they would have had to come, but because I happened to mention that, they won't do a thing. I even called back a second time thinking I would get someone more reasonable, no they immediately and rudely asked me if I was ready to pay cash for it now, they could see the notes from the previous call, I might as well give up. I should never have purchased this ridiculous thing along with my loan, I declined all the extra insurance and stuff they try to get you to buy, but they managed to talk me into this one. Never again. Beware!

      We have reviewed Ms. *******'s membership and call for service. Our membership plans cover the member and under certain conditions, children under the age of 23. Roadside assistance service is provided to the member and eligible children for any vehicle in which they are traveling. It was determined that her son was over the age of 23 and that she was not with her son at the time of the disablement. The representative offered to set up the service with an out of pocket expense since the son was not an eligible member and Ms. ******* was not in the vehicle, but Ms. ******* declined. We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused and always strive to provide service to our members while following the parameters of the plan.

      This business advertises things they don't produce. The roadside assistance is never available. You cannot trust that you'll be helped. I learned this the hard way. Stranded with a flat, halfway home from a 60 mile trip. A stormy cold night in October with my 7yr old granddaughter. I am a 61 yr old disabled grandmother trying to get us home. I reached out to the emergency number I was given. They told me they'd call me back with details of the help arriving. It never happened. Kept saying they couldn't find anyone. After waiting 3hrs. My family was frantic. There was a person available to help me 30miles away. Someone that had worked on my daughter's car previously, was willing to come out in the storm for $100. I agreed. He came. We got home. When I submitted the reciept I was told they won't reimburse me because it wasn't a certified repair man.. Excuse me. You couldn't find anyone and just left us sit. What am I paying for? You didn't find someone and I did.

Our dispatch service reached out to multiple providers but unfortunately was unable to find an available service provider for Ms. ******* and did not keep Ms. ******* updated throughout the dispatch process. We have submitted this information to our Provider Network Team to review and have reached out to Ms. ******* with an apology for the inconvenience this caused. We will also be processing goodwill payments totaling $100 to reimburse Ms. ******* for the amount she paid out of pocket. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience this situation caused Ms. *******.
