Avoid this company at all cost. The owner, Tray Bailey, is a total liar and will give you excuse after excuse. I hired Beachview Hardscapes to install a vinyl fence and lay sod. I advised Tray that we only had 3 weeks to get this done. He guaranteed that his crew (1 person) could have it done. After paying him half of the total job (on a Friday), I rarely saw him. The work was suppose to start the following Monday, but Tray nor his "crew" showed up. I phone him and he gave some lame excuse and said they would be there on Wednesday. That day came and a single person showed up to re-dig where the previous fence post were. The crew of 1 took an entire week to dig out post holes. I contacted Tray to reiterate that this had to be done in the 3 week timeframe. He said the sod was on order and would only take 2 days to install. It took 3 weeks to install the privacy fence and the sod never got installed. The owner (Tray) showed up to the jobsite maybe once a week for less than an hour. Needless to say, the fence was installed horribly/gates sag so much that they drag on the ground and they are not able to secure our backyard because the wrong material was installed. I have tried to reach out to Tray personally countless times. He either doesn't answer the phone at all or he'll send a text hours later stating that he's on a job. Beachview Hardscapes is a ripoff and they are NOT professional, specifically the owner Tray Bailey. He only shows up to collect money and you don't see him again. To add more stress to my life, I'm not only serving overseas, but having to worry about neighborhood kids accessing my unsecured pool. God forbid someone drowns. To be frank, I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy ley alone anyone else. I am writing to you to complain about Beachview Hardscapes, Inc. I engaged in business with this company from on or about January 31, 2024 to February 20, 2024. During that time, Beachview Hardscapes engaged in un-businesslike activity, specifically related to the landscape project. Initially, we believed a French drain was necessary to address water issues on the side of our house. However, it was later discovered that the sprinkler system’s water main pipes were leaking, rendering the French drain unnecessary. Despite having already provided a $1,200 deposit, we decided to allow the company to proceed with a landscaping project, providing another $1,200 deposit in good faith. We added lighting to the contract, and again in good faith, provided an additional $500 deposit. Approval was granted to the company to proceed on February 12, 2024, with the work scheduled to be completed either the same day or the next business day. Unfortunately, the contractor failed to show up, leading to continued rescheduling. As of February 20, 2024, I have requested a FULL refund of the deposit in the amount of $2,900, with a deadline for refund by February 27, 2024. To date, no refund has been received. I kindly request your assistance in resolving this matter promptly so as to avoid litigation. It is important to note that this business is also operating while in an "inactive" status according to the Department of State website, which means that the person whom I had been dealing with will be personally liable for any damages sought, including court costs and attorney fees, if the deposit is not refunded in full. We here at Beachview want to acknowledge our lack of execution and communication resulting in several rescheduled visits did not set the team nor our client up for success with what should’ve been a quick project. A certified check in the amount of $2,900.00 was made and sent out in the mail to give our client back a refund in full and we will follow up this upcoming Monday to ensure its delivery.

I am rejecting this response because:No such check has yet been received as of April 1, 2024, ironically “April Fool’s Day”. A lawsuit has been filed against them and it is in the process of being served upon Defendants which I can assure you that is not a joke!
