September through November 2023-Work promised by Gulfcoast Property Maintenace in the oucrse of the last 6 months 1-Company sold us a new paver driveway, but promised us verbally that they would seal it including the front porch-no resolution after at least 15 calls and some text messages.2-He replaced the old grass with new grass-many places were improperly installed he was told that at the time and said it would be fine-now in many areas the grass is dying 3-he was going to reach out to the same company who did the pavers to finish a small walk area-he cannot be reached and does not respond 4-he broke a blown glass bird bath-said he would replace and never did. 5-He promised a smart timer-he gave us a cheap timer 6-Some plants are not properly planted and they are bent and will not survive.7-Lastly he planted sun plants in shaded area and vice-versa.Ex: Texas barometer **** was planted in shade and its full sun For red Cordyline its best to put it in shaded areas. It is impossible to reach him and he is not responsive-All I want is for him to deliver what he promised and not have to pay for it as it was included in the price.Best Regards *********************

      Business response

      05/20/2024

      In response to *********************** complaint:

      1. Customer did discuss sealing pavers, however, she was never charged for that by us. That would've been something done by the installers who are our sub-contractors.

      2. The sod was installed correctly, so if it is dying, that might be due to the customer not getting a fertilizer company out as recommended by Gulfcoast.

      3. The company whom we got the pavers from (Shoreline) is no longer in business, so it will be hard to do an exact match for the small walk area that the customer mentioned wanting.

      4. We're happy to replace the blown glass bird bath. I would suggest she pick out something comparable or we can send her a check for the estimated amount of it's value.

      5. We never charged the customer for a smart timer, so she was charged for what she got. She was told she could always upgrade later.

      6. None of the plants look planted improperly from the pictures we see.

      7. Cordyline can go in shade or sun. The plant does tend to get some brown on its leaves. The pictures we were provided isn't a dead plant. We never planted anything named Texas Baromerter ****.

We never received a letter from ************ until we got one along with your letter to us. The customer lives near salt water, and there were multiple storms, a flood surge, and cold front since we did this installation back in November 2023. Customer is claiming one plant died out of 50+ plants that were installed. We guarantee our plants for 30 days. We cannot guarantee after that especially when inclement weather is involved. We can't control that or how the plants respond. As for the pavers been cracked in some places, they weren't when they were installed. This is not our fault; it would be a manufacturer defect, and unfortunately, that company (Shoreline Pavers) is not longer in business, so we have no suggestion on what to do. As for her sod, if something happens with irrigation (like a power outage that knocks it off and/or out of whack), that is not our responsibility to make sure her lawn is getting watered and fertilized. The customer was happy when we completed the job 6 months ago! We've done business for 20 years in this county and have never had a complaint. This customer was giving us major attitude, and threatening us, hence the reason we weren't in a rush to get back to her or her partner.
