Coastal Dreams Sports Center does not have a gym up and running - previous location and name of "********************" is currently undergoing the process of filing for bankruptcy and closed it's door over 3 months ago, while assuring us parents that we would back in a "new gym" within a few short weeks. Since the closure my child has not, and cannot practice at no fault of ours. Still, with no gym and several weeks of promises to "open soon" my daughter cannot be expected to safely compete and I was refused a refund for the competitions, some of which have already taken place. "********************" has current lawsuits against it for having not paid it rental fees and was therefore evicted - all of which us parents were never made aware of until the doors where forced closed and were left without a gym. Enough is enough, and without a gym my daughter cannot practice and cannot be expected to compete. I paid for my daughter to be couched (couching fee #4 - $145) and she has not been couched at all during this time. I also paid for 5 gymnastics competition meets (********** (past - $120), Think Pink (past - $155), Magical Classical (upcoming - $155), ********** (upcoming - $155), and the In-house meet ( never occurred - $65). I also have a credit to my account ($192), none of which has been refunded. My total expectations of a refund include the above meets, couches fee, and the credit that is on my account, all totally $987.I have respectfully asked the company to refund me, was denied, and referred to their bankruptcy attorney, *********************, out of ****************, *******, who was surprised to hear of my referral. I have tried to be supportive of them, but am am now very upset and hurt at how this "business" is conducting itself after nearly 5 years of relationship with them and would like my refund at whenever escalation/means necessary. I've attached my transaction sheet which shows my payments made. I also have exchanged emails if needed.

I am rejecting this response because:

While I did withdraw ******* from the program, it was done after the owner failed to pay her rent causing us to be evicted from our gym without any parental knowledge or advance notice.

We were not expected to practice anywhere but the addresss listed in the "contract" because families are expected to have a gym and rely on the business owner to handle her obligations. As a parent I have upheld my part of the contract, paid my fees and dues, and trusted that the owner of the business, ***** would lead with integrity and pay appropriate fees. Instead, she accepted each of my payments fully aware she was not going to pay her rent (many months of not paying her obligations) and in turn was evicted.  At this time, all trust is broken with no amends. To respond with "we have a contact" is obsurd and she should be ashamed.

The safety and well-being of my child should have been more important to **** as she was well aware my child could not safely compete and should refund the meets fees, especially since she upcharges them and makes her own profit in enrolling the athletes.

**** chose to continue to accept fees from me (money raised by our daughter) and instead of paying her obligations, she made the decision over and over again to pocket the money.

      Sincerely,

      ***************************
