Mister ************************ of A1 Tree and Landscape Services solicited me at my place of residence for landscaping services on Wednesday, January 10th. Each time I talk to him he upped the price. At the end of the day he left his crew at my home saying they would finish the job before they left. They did not! Only 3/4 of the entire job was done. ************* made a beeline to my bank and cashed my check within 15 minutes of leaving my home. I have called him and he says he will be out on Tuesday January 16th but did not show up. When I called him again he hung up on me (several times ). I have also found out he claims to be licensed and bonded and he is not. His residence or place of businessis in Summerfield. No receipt was offered by *************.Initial Complaint

Gary J**** representing Certified Tree and Landscaping provided me a bid to remove a few and trim a few trees on May 11th, 2022. There is one tree that is shared by myself and 2 others that we are splitting the cost on that was also part of the work. All three of us provided a deposit to Gary as he said he can lower costs if we all have work to do. I paid him in cash a deposit of $2500 k. I did collect a receipt for the case payment. He committed to starting work that day by bringing the equipment over so the crew could start first thing in the morning. He has not been seen since. I have placed multiple phone calls to a number that is not answered. Text message sent, no response, VM left letting him know I was going to the sheriff if I did not hear back within 30 minutes. I would like my money returned in full. He is clearly watching the phone as I did get a text back alerting me could not answer right then.Initial Complaint

On 2/10 /22 I hired Certified Tree & Landscape service ( Mr. Gary J****) to remove 3 pine trees from my property for $ 4500.00 I did pay him $2,000.00 by check upfront and when he finished the next day I paid $ 2,500 via credit card After he finished he moved with his truck and Trailer from my property to the golf course that is behind my property and left. He had problems moving the truck and trailer and had to push them with his tractor that he brought with him. 2 weeks later I did get a letter from ****************** with a letter an invoice and pictures of the damage that Mr. J**** truck made on the Golf course. I called Mr. Corey M**** he was the site manager in charge of the tree removal. In our first phone call he stated to get the pictures and invoice and they would take care of it. He told me he would be by next Monday to pick them up but never showed up. I called him and left 6 messaged. one time he hung up on me. Then I did get the phone number from Mr. Gary J**** the owner of the company. I talked to him today and explained the situation. First he asked me if I needed more work done after I told him no. He stated to me that they are creasy and hung up. I also have tried to hirer an attorney But none have returned my call. I contacted the Fl. Legal bar to get an attorney but none of them have called my back either. I need help to get this resolved.Initial Complaint

Gary J**** and a younger person said to be his brother solicited us Thursday February 24th for tree service. They said they were in the area working and could give us a good price because they were already in the area. Gary pointed out two large trees that needed to be trimmed and two pal;m trees that needed lessor work. His first quote was for $2,400 but he came down to an agreed upon price of $2,000 to trim all 4 trees and haul away the trimmings. We actually physically shook hands on the agreement but did not put it in writing. I had to leave for an appointment but wrote a check payable to Certified Tree and Landscaping for $2000 and left it with my wife for them. They started to work and did maybe 2/3s of the work on the most needy tree. The younger brother cme to the back door of our home and asked for the check. When he saw that it was payable to Certified tree Service he said they couldn't use it they were using a truck with Certified Tree Service sign on door and Certifies Tree Service Business Cards but they said their dad ahad died and taken the certified name to the grave with him. He insisted of a cjheck payable to Gary J****. My wife reluctantly complied. After getting the check, the J**** brothers and two helpers immediately left our premises takong none of the debris with them. (I have a photo). They left so fast they left a large pair of needle nose pliers, some chain saw parts, and 4 half empty soda cans in the yard! Gary immediately cashed the check, so i had no opportunity to stop payment. (My across the street neighbor had aso given them a check on the same day. She was able to place a stop payment.) They did not return to complete the work or to haul away the material they had cut off. I called Gary that evening using the number on the busines card 352-497-9523. He said they would return Friday (2/25) to complete the job. They did not show up. I called and texted Gary throughout the day and never got an answer or call back.Initial Complaint

transaction 1/12/2022 Amount paid $2000.00 The service that was to be provided was all trees trimmed , 2 trees removed, 9 bushes removed and 2 trees planted and 9 bushes planted. which was suppose to be done within 2 days. He dropped off 11 plants and we never saw him again after we gave him a check. He told us to F_ _ _ Off, when we called
