August 9, 2022 I transferred 480.00 USD to Chris M******* through WesternUnion as requested from him, because he said their website was updating so they can only accept payment through WesternUnion. The payment is for the lug nut lock and also with the dummy caps total is $480. After Chris M******* received the payment, Rimlox incoporated said it will take 1-3 weeks to get it to me, and saying feel free to check in on about a week. After that, I tried to contact them through 3 email inquires, but they never reply back. And now is already May 8th 2023. I can provide the transaction and email conversations to prove my claim. Since the business is not responsive at all, I would like to get a full refundBusiness response

In response to the customer, Rimlox has completed the customers order however simply let it slip through the cracks and failed to ship due to focusing on the new and improved company process of our manufacturing and non working website, hence the western union payment. We were focusing on a rebuild of the entire process to better serve our customers. The new site is up after months of design work as well as new banking accounts due to the original site being hacked. We take full responsibility and can ship the product to the customer. Unfortunately, we do not provide refunds per out policy but obviously will make it right with the customer. We did NOT receive any emails or communications from the customer regarding their order, not saying they did not attempt to communicate. The customer can provide an updated/current address and we will ship out their locks within days of receiving their address.Customer response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. And how do I get contact with the business to update my shipping address? Can update the address through you guys? What if the business fail to send my order or refuse to communicate with me again?

In October of 2021, I placed an order with this company paying $1290.00 for three of the RIMLOX products for my vehicle. To date, I have not received the product and had placed numerous requests for cancellation. When requesting a status, I was always presented with excuses and on one occasion was given a shipping receipt for a package that was suppose to have been sent to me in a mockup package. The tracking ID show that the package was never in the postal system nor left the location. This seems to be a consistent practice of this company and I am seeking assistance with a refund on my payment as I have been back and forth with this company for about 10+ months. At this point, I do not feel that this company would honor any warranty nor commitment for this product.Business response

(Attached is the partial form that contains the Rimlox no refund policy that all customers acknowlege and agree to prior to receiving pricing and placing thier order) Rimlox is NOT a perfectly ran company.. there have been many challenges and growing pains over the years that have delayed a few random orders. Rimlox has been in existance since the year **** and had sold thousands of wheel locks to customers nationwide and to other random customers worldwid over the years. Rimlox has a perfect track record with absolutely ZERO WHEELS AND TIRES STOLEN TO DATE. This is a very difficult product to manufacture due to all of the customization that is being provided. There are also numerous factors that have contributed to late or delayed orders beyond Rimlox's control over the 22 years.. Just to name a few: Holidays, weather, inadequit proofreading and manufacturer employees sick or out, COVID... which resulted in not being able to receive steel, not being able to have parts manufactured or coated, random maintain passing over the years, poor coating which results in the entire batch to be rejected and re-coated. There are many other challenges over the years not mentioned, however Rimlox has shipped or made it right with thier customers. With regards to ************************ order, it was shipped on time/ within a reasonable timeframe back in 2021. He received a VALID tracking # that was a legitimate number provided by ***** (Rimlox does not provide incorrect tracking numbers, especially when the customer can verify them instantly) This customer did not receive the package for whatever reason. Rimlox is NOT responsible for shipping issues such as: LOST, STOLEN, DELAYED, DAMAGED/OPENED PACKAGES (resulting in product litteraly being stolen. SEE ATTACHED. Once Rimlox was contacted and made aware of the missing package. Rimlox took it upon itself to redo ***************** entire order FREE of charge. This took a little longer than anticipated due to the nature of customization and getting in the manufacturing schedule, however the order was competed. Rimlox notified ************* that his parts were complete and ************* refuse to accept the parts and demand his money back/ wanted a full refund. Rimlox policy which is a strict policy..(attached) clearly stated no refunds on the inquiry form when he submitted his order(s). This disclaimer is on all forms that the (potential) customer MUST accept or agree to, to receive pricing. Rimlox cannot and will not accommodate customers who randomly situations wanting to cancel thier orders for various reasons. (Rimlox will provide a credit towards a new set on a case by car basis) Once again, this originally was NOT a Rimlox issue. Rimlox shipped and provided a valid tracking number to *************. Rimlox does not allow cancellations for the following but not limited to.. curbed or scratched wheels, wheels stolen before the locks have been shipped, customer sold car does not need the locks, customer needs to pay bills and wants to cancel, customer vehicle was reposessed etc. ********************** did what was right and immediately out of pocket to replace and manufacturer an entire new set of locks and ************* continuously refuse to accept for various reasons. Rimlox will still honor this order if ************* wishes to accept the locks. If he chooses not to then this case will close with Rimlox denying the refund request. These parts are made in ******* and that have come with numerous challenges over the 22 years in business with only a handfull of complaints due to delayed orders. This product is the only guaranteed wheel locking system available period and has not failed one single Rimlox customer ever! There have been ZERO ********************** customers wheels stolen to date. Litteraly ALL Rimlox customers are very happy with thier product. Which has resulted in no / ZERO complaints for wheels ever being stolen. Rimlox has drastically improved the manufacturing and has accomplished the goal of being granted a product by ***** and Mopar. I am rejecting this response because: there were several statements made in the response which were not factual. Besides the response being a total advertising piece for their product or in my case lack thereof; RIMLOX has a pattern of engaging in stalling tactics when they cannot deliver a product as ordered.1. RIMLOX never shipped the items in question and I challenge them to produce proof of that valid tracking number which shows that the items ordered were even shipped to my location. What I received was a dummy tracking number showing no shipment leaving the original location. When I engaged RIMLOX on placing a trace on the shipment, they were very elusive.
2. I've asked for a refund several times over the year before any work had even begun on the order and was promised a refund because of the time that had transpired, which never materialized. I was even forwarded a transaction receipt that was to mimic a credit card reverse charge transaction. When questioned on this, yet another story was presented.
3. RIMLOX never notified me of any replacement parts being completed and ready for shipment nor made any attempt to ship the parts to me. I had never engaged in any conversation with RIMLOX where I refused to receive the parts of a completed order. Instead, what I received were broken promise statement on a delivery which never materialized and I placed the order for three units! The refund demand was presented only when RIMLOX engaged in stalling tactics when work on the order had not yet begun.
If this company wants to send me the shipment now, I will accept. However, a company that can not even honor its orders, I doubt will honor any claims placed for their products.

Attempting to purchase wheel locks from Rimlox. Purchase date is 9/3/20 and received email confirmation of purchase. Since purchase date, very difficult getting any legitimate order status update. Updates range from "sorry, holiday season so things move slow" to "sorry, covid issues" to "sorry, was out of town for a bit". No communication from Rimlox unless it's me trying to figure out why things are taking so long. Back in January of this year (1.5 years later), Chris stated that my order must've gotten lost in translation but cannot provide tracking information and suggested that I fill out another order form. Approaching two years now and I have STILL not received any locks from Rimlox.Business response
