We booked an Airbnb at this location for a business trip, for approximately $5700, from May 8th-11th. Upon arrival to the property, we immediately discovered that it was not only filthy, but also unsafe, as there were holes in the walls, the dock was in total disrepair, and there was a man (not the owner) on the property, who was in and out of the house while we looked through it and clearly has access whenever he wanted. We could not stay in those circumstances for even one night, and tried multiple times to contact the owner to no avail. Airbnb refunded ** a portion of what we paid, but the owner clearly and willfully misrepresented his property and business to **, the consumer, and is continuing to do so by posting pictures of this home on Airbnb that are totally inaccurate. From a business standpoint, this is completely unacceptable and unlawful.
