Owner, **** hired a plumber who did not correctly install the shower plumbing job as it caused two floods. We had to have the downstairs lights, fans, and drywall painted twice along with damaged fireplace from the water pouring from the ceiling. The two floods occurred on December 2 and December 10. We paid them in cash a little over $6000 and the cost out of pocket including damages is $12,000 to rebuild a new shower. A new shower had to be built because the entire plumbing had to be redesigned instead of risking another flood to the house. Luckily, we were home both times to where it did not flood the entire first floor if we were not home. **** would be paying a lot more. The communication has been terrible and he stated he would make things right, but he only continues to ghost and his son was the project manager, as he handled the cash and the check-ins, phone calls, and text. There were multiple excuses of why there are no-shows during the renovation and many times of no communication for days. We did have his company do the flooring of our entire house but still has not followed through with his word of fixing the upstairs, stairs, transition, piece, master bedroom, and closet door. He has not reached out to us since he came to look at the house and told us he would fix everything and make things right we have been waiting for the stair pieces for months now and apparently its still on backwater, we are only asking for what we are owed. The stress and anxiety has been over the top as we need the cash to continue with bills, medication for my illness, and every day living.Initial Complaint

I hired DiPorto floors on April 26th to install engineered hardwood flooring in *********** and paid them ***** cash as a down payment for a job of **** square feet of flooring to be laid. We ran into unlevel flooring and after discussion they asked for another ***** cash to provide monies for leveling the subfloor of and prepare for install of wood. Once they supposedly leveled my floors they laid the flooring however the floor has numerous areas that are uneven with the naked eye. The owner came out and assured me he would himself repair and fox the problem areas. It has been 2 months since we spoke and I called him on sept 20th as that was the date he said he was coming to do repairs. I blocked my caller Id and I spoke with him on the 20th and he said I had dates wrong it was Monday Sept 26th when he was coming out. I said ok I would see him Monday the 26th between 10-11:00 am. Well the day passed (i tried to call twice with no answer) and he still has not responded or tried to reach out to me. I am so frustrated as my floors are a mess and I have tried everything. I have spent over ****** just in the wood that has been laid by the *************** the ***** I gave him in cash. I am seeking a full refund and the cost of replacing the entire area and leveling of floor properly. I need help please
