I reserved a room and changed my mind and they won't give me my money backBusiness response

The guest booked a pre-pay NON-Cancel reservation. Pre policy the reservation is non-refundable and the only thing we can do is modify the dates in which we did that for the guest. If the guest dont show up to check into the hotel they are still charged a No-show fee. Unfortunately there is no refund that is due. We have explained all this to the guestInitial Complaint

This was a completely run down establishment that I was charged full price for. There were homeless people running all around the property putting my family and myself at a safety risk. They pestered me for cigarettes and drugs during my stay. I was told that there was a pool, and the pool was broken and not operable. Rooms were absolutely disgusting. I had my grandkids with me and we had to leave due to the conditions and the safety concerns and the homeless using drugs in front of **.Initial Complaint

On Monday may 15,2023 I approached the front desk due to fact my room key stopped working the front desk proceed to ask me why my key stopped working I responded with I don't know. Once I received my room key I was then called ignorant by the front desk clerk.Business response

This guest was booked through a 3rd party CLC Lodging. I tried to contact the guest but there is no personal phone number on file. The number that was provided to the hotel is of the company and the hotel was not able to get with anyone at the number listed on the reservation. I tried reaching out to the guest and the company to see what I could do to compensate the guest. While the guest was checked into the hotel for 5 days, the guest never complained to the Front Desk or any manager that was on property.Customer response
