If you value customer service, competence and accountability, do NOT utilize Rivard Buick, Tampa, FL, for your service repair needs. My initial interaction was with customer service rep Carlos, who had an apathetic attitude concerning my questions. He then proceeded to look at his screen and mumble curse words. When I asked what was wrong, he stated he needed to access my car to check it in, but it was raining and he didn’t feel like getting wet. He then said he would just do it in the morning, making sure to let me know that me and my business were not a priority. The following day, I arrived at Buick to ensure that Carlos followed up and my car was being assessed. While there I spoke with Troy G, the service manager, to inform him of the poor customer service I experienced upon check-in. Although Troy made excuses for Carlos’ behavior, he did keep me informed of the progress of my repair, as I was there waiting. After the repair was completed and the bill was paid, approximately 4 hours and less than 100 miles later, and the repair not only fails, but has now caused additional problems with the vehicle. The mechanics at Rivard either overlooked a vital issue during their assessment or they improperly installed the part or damaged something else during the installation. Rivard will not stand behind their repair work and worst of all, was the nonchalant, and unhelpful attitude that I received from Troy, in trying to find a fair resolution to this issue. Please pass the word, I would not want anyone else to experience this level of incompetence and unprofessionalism! Worst experience ever!!!Review from Kiblena W

It was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had! I made the appointment with Rivard Buick GMC 3-4 days in advance and called moments before my appointment. I came in with my husband, who accompanied me for the drive back while he was on a short lunch break, only to be there for nearly 2hrs. The salesman reduced the offer $425 less than Kelly blue book. I accepted without hesitation. The salesman had me sign the title and offer only to wait an additional 45mins to tell me to comeback 3 days later to receive the cash/check because the accountant left for the day. It was 1:42pm on a weekday. I pleaded with him multiple times to pay me for the car that day only for him to tell me the inconvenience was not their fault but I could drive the car home or comeback 3 days after work. (Mind you the title of the car is in the dealership name and there is no insurance on the car anymore). The salesman refused to offer me anything for the inconvenience and cause of anxiety and worry, which were stressors for the inconvenience. At that moment, I called my father, who is a mechanic who lives in south Florida, to help me. I intentionally explained the problem to my father on the phone loudly so all the customers could hear the insane statements of the salesman. Moments later the salesman approached me and said he can pay me now just wait. Never did he apologize or take responsibility for the added stress or insane statements. He went to a head GMC manager to cut the check and gave me a check with my first name misspelled, which was not consistent with all of the documentation on the title, drivers license, and offer letter. I will never recommend this disgraceful car dealership. I’ve already told a number of individuals about my disgraceful experience.

Ordered/Purchased a brand new truck from this dealership and it took 6 months to even receive it after being told numerous times it was on its way. We were paying for the truck before it was even in our possession. Then we had it for 7 months and the truck broke down completely. It has been at the dealership now for 3 months and the GM engineer has been out 4 times already to try to diagnose the issue, still no resolution. GM is telling us we do not qualify for a repurchase because they dont know whats wrong with the truck so they wont replace it. We cant get any answers on a resolution from anyone even after numerous escalations. We get blanket statements from a call center supervisor and they keep pointing the finger back to the dealership who points it back to the call center. We have been more than patient waiting for this to be resolved, but there is no urgency whatsoever to make this right. We are still paying for a brand new truck and driving a c*** rental. Purchase a vehicle from them on 09/2022 started to have issues with the vehicle a couple of days later we noticed that there is a vibration when the vehicle speed would reach speed of 65 mph. Called to report it to them, (We purchased their vehicle warranty ) the service department asked us to drop it off so they check what the problem is. 1 week later we call to follow up because we havent heard from anyone with any updates, they tell us they are going to check on it. Another 1 week later comes up they call us to tell us the issue has been fixed. We take the car home that day and we notice the same issue, call them back the very next day to tell them that the issue persists, service department says bring it back in fast forward 4 months later, they never fixed the issue, they offered to buy back the vehicle because they couldnt fix it So here Im thinking they are going to at least give me back what we paid for. They wanted to buy it back for $10,000 less than what I originally bought it for gave me some BS about the economy!!! Never ever going to this dealership again they will steal from you!Review from Rick K

Let's start off with our boots on the ground and we walked the lot. Red flag number one, no sales person introduced themselves for thirty minutes. Well, I actually they didn't find me, I found him. We find the car of our dreams, three hours inside! Closing time, Please come back tomorrow. Day 2, we come back and our salesperson is now on PTO. In steps a new sales person. Back to square one and we lost Day one progress. OOOP's... The car is not priced accurately... Let's add 5k! Now we fast forward a week later and now were making progress. Numbers made sense to them, so we make a deal. We even agreed to a extended warranty! They added two new tire's into the deal. Fast forward a couple months and they can finally make good on those new tires. A few months later, and many complaints about adding air in the tire to keep the lights on the dash out and we can finally bring it in. They keep the car for the weekend and can't find a problem. We take the car back and the problem continues. Jump up three more months and finally after multiple calls we bring it in and they find the problem. The tire has four small puncture holes! Not detected the first go round!!! Not under warranty, over $300 dollars for a new tire. Out of Pocket. They gave us a defective tire and then blamed us for not buying a tire protection plan. SMH This Location is very unprofessional and has no customer service. AVOID talking to ****, he claims to have 30yrs service with ******, but failed to call me when he said he would. Had many personal excuses! I don't need to hear your problems. I need you to fix mine!Review from William G

Sales Dept a HORROR !!! Arrogant people, understand now why a 1 star rating. Glad I found out before doing business with them. From my experience I would not recommend them, sad too.
