We are responding to the complaint of an overage for a trip that was conducted on 7/11/2023 by a passenger picked up at Tampa International Airport around 11am and taken to her destination in *******, ** (actual address omitted for privacy purposes). The mileage from Tampa International Airport to that location is approximately 76 miles. Our metered rates are $8.50 to start the meter ($3.50 to start plus $5 airport origination charge), $2.50 per mile and $.40 per minute wait time. These rates are posted at our Yellow *********** desk inside the airport and also at the taxi stand outside. (See attached photo) Based on the mileage, the approximate price for the fare would be $198.50, not adding any wait time (which would allow if any heavy traffic). The driver brought the passenger to her destination and charged $198.00. Our driver did not over charge the passenger based on our stated metered rates. We have attached two photos, one showing the distance from the starting location to the destination and the other shows the actual driver trip map showing he used his meter. Our meter rates are governed by Hillsborough County and are the same price day and night. Often times customers will compare our rates with ridesharing companies which have changing rates. The customer states they were quoted $145. ****** claims he did not. The only flat rate we have for $145 is to ************************** which is posted at the Airport and on our website. If the customer saw the sign and thought their destination was equivalent to ********, then they were mistaken. I hope this has satisfied the customer's complaint.

I arrived at At the Tamp airport on 02/21/2022. I used the first cab company I saw, Yellow Cab of Tampa. I was staying at the Hilton Downtown Tampa. (approx. a 15 minute ride) The driver told me the bill was $16, would I like to leave a tip. I agreed and tipped 25% ($4). I asked for a receipt, and was told it would be emailed to me, the driver asked for my email address, and I provided it. I never got a receipt or any sort of email from them. A few hours later the charge hit my expense account, for $80. $80!. I called the company the first Monday I was back in my office 02/28/2022, I was told there would be no issues, and I would receive a follow-up email. I called again on or about 03/07/2022, same conversation, no resolution. Today, 03/21/2022, a full month after the ride, still with no receipt or explanation of the charge, I called yet again at approx. 1200pm. I asked to speak with a supervisor, I was told they were all in a meeting, but someone would call me back today. I called back at 300pm to make certain someone would call me. This time I was told there was no supervisor available. I was further told, I would have to call back tomorrow, and keep calling back until I could reach a supervisor. Everything about this feels scam-like. I would like an adjustment to my CC and a receipt.Initial Complaint

Good morning, I called for a cab to get to work and cab 67 called and stated that he would be arriving in a few minutes,now my pick up address was put in as **** ******** *** the driver arrived at uatc and I gave him my destination address as XXXXX beard ** on *** ********** with no meter running he tells me the amount owed is 10$.. and I asked for a receipt he declined said he doesn't have one..I demand a return of my money owed to me .
