My wife and I attended the ************************* concert on Friday, October 4th, at *********************************. We parked at *************************** (***********************************************). Upon arrival, we were approached by individuals who appeared to be directing parking. They informed us that no event parking was allowed unless otherwise instructed. Someone then claimed we could park for $40. Believing this was legitimate, we paid and thought we were in compliance. After the concert, we returned to find our vehicle missing, along with several others. To our dismay, we realized the cars were being towed by Target Recovery & Towing. We saw their employees carelessly handling vehicles, dropping and lifting them with the tow trucks back lift, increasing our concern that our car had been treated the same way.Feeling deceived, we noted the contact info on the tow truck and immediately called the company. After explaining the situation, it became clear we had likely been scammed into paying for unauthorized parking. We then walked roughly five miles about an hour to the tow yard at ************************************Upon arrival, we had to pay $193.20 to get our vehicle back. After inspecting it, we noticed the damage from the towing process. Our vehicle is less than a year old, and upon inspection, it was clear the damage was caused during towing. The damage was primarily underneath, consistent with improper lifting of the vehicle. This was not pre-existing, and we are confident it occurred during the tow.I contacted Target Recovery & Towing, but they denied responsibility, claiming the damage was pre-existing. Despite saying they took photos before towing, they refused to provide any. A police officer on-site confirmed such photos should exist, yet the company has failed to produce them. This experience has been incredibly frustrating and left us feeling victimized. We hope to resolve this, as we believe the towing company acted negligently and unprofessionally.

I am writing to formally file a complaint against Target Towing in *****, **. My experience with this company has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I believe their practices are predatory and unethical. Here are the specifics:1. Unlawful Towing: My car was towed while I was parked in my designated work parking spot, with no clear or visible tow zone signs nearby.2. Inconsistent Charges: The towing charges varied each time I spoke with them, raising concerns about their honesty and business practices.3. Delayed Retrieval: I was forced to wait overnight to retrieve my vehicle because of their delay in unlocking the gates, causing significant inconvenience and distress.4. Unprofessional Conduct: The staff at Target Towing were extremely unhelpful, unresponsive, and displayed a complete lack of empathy.5. Targeting Vulnerable Groups: It appears they prey on minorities, low-income individuals, and women, which is highly unethical and discriminatory.6. Possible Vehicle Damage: My car now has a vibration and noise that were not present before the tow, indicating possible damage during the process.I request that the BBB investigate these practices and take appropriate action to ensure they do not continue to exploit and mistreat people in *****.

This company sits around and prays on innocent people by towing their vehicles unlawfully They leave no information on where your vehicle is. You have to drive around to look for a sign to find the number then when you call they tell you they have up to an hour for you to be able to get your vehicle back. They tell you 250 on the phone but then when the guy gets there he tells you if you pay cash its 180.The store was closing in five minutes there was no cars in the parking lot. My husband ran in to exchange something less than five minutes and they didnt even give him time to get his vehicle. In the very front of the store, there is no signs that say no parking. Hes done it many times late night after work. These people pray on innocent people to make a dollar

On 2-10-24 RT Target towing preyed on my truck during a event near the stadium. I WAS AT WORK and there were no parking spaces due to people illegally parking at my job. These crooks towed my truck. I went inside and explained to Burger King what happened and they contracted the company and asked if I could pick up my truck. The jerk in the phone said yes. We get there and walk right into a TRAP. I begged and pleaded with this guy to give me my property. He said NO a few times and enticed me to hit him in front of the POLICE who I thought was a security guard.. The unknown cop pulled a taser and pointed it at my face as I backed up with my arms raised in the air. That officer them called for back up and 5 cop cars pulled up with their guns drawn on me. That was a reason for them to charge me $350 CASH ONLY NO RECIEPT. Somebody has to stop this company it’s getting really BAD

I was recently towed for "improperly parking" as explained by the towing company. I am a delivery driver for a service and dropping off an order for a customer at the adjacent apartment complex (**** Residence). I parked within the garage on ******************************************* an area designated for ***** min drop offs. I was inside for less than 5 mins and came out to my car towed. This incident occurred on 2/5/24 around 8:30pm.I contacted the tow company on the sign and was given an address to where my car was towed to. I took an Uber to the address and dropped off in an area of ***** that is not very safe. The yard was empty with no occupants, so proceeded to call the tow company again and said someone was on there way to help me get my car out. It took the employee over 10 mins to meet me, while I stood out in the dark outside the lot in an unsavory location within *****. I picked up my car within the hour it was towed. I would like a refund to the un need to tow my vehicle as I abided by the parking signs posted.

I had a terrible experience with Target Recovery & Towing (*************************************************) on January 24, ****. They unlawfully towed my car from a parking lot on South ****** Ave, demanded over $200 for its release, and displayed rude and arrogant behavior despite being wrong. When confronted, they ignored repeated calls and lied about my car's parking location. They went so far as to delete a photo that would have proven my innocence. While they eventually returned my money, beware of their predatory practices! It is obvious their driver **** is a bully and incentivized by volume, not accuracy. Thank goodness my husband was in town and able to help. l felt unsafe throughout the whole sketchy process. They are dishonest and use manipulative tactics. I am sharing this for your information only. I do not require resolution any further, I just want to pay it forward and protect others.

I was at a red light going north on ******* at the intersection of *********************** and ************** in *****, *******. A Target recovery and towing truck attempted to stop at the stoplight and decided not to and ran the red light. I called to mention that there were people crossing the street at that time of the red light that had just gotten out of a dance studio and he said he ran the red light because his radiator or engine was overheating. He argued with me about why he ran the red light and said that if his radiator blew up that it would have blown up all over those children. This could have easily been solved had he pulled over before the red light and let his engine cool down instead of running the red light. He proceeded to hang up on me when I had this conversation with him.
