On Dec 9thwe stopped by *****'s with my 99 ***** to check out the prices to replace the top due to rear glass falling out and worked oto a deal with ************* paid in full ******* bucks on the 13th at around 8am I received a call from the sheriff a told " my car was in an accident and totalted out and wanted me to have it towed " after found out due to *****'s careless driving ,and other driver was ******************** assured ** that he had great insurance, ( we found out there was no insurance for him to be driven my car) he keeps promises ** to make it right then I have everything's under the sun for excuses why he can't pay ** the money for the top never purchased or rental car or to REPLACE MY CAR got police involved and had to get a Lawyer ***** assured ** and has not told the truth once Never thought in this country some one could have an automotive business and no insurance and no responsibility THIS REALLY ***** It's now the end of April no car no money extremely frustrating it's just not right ??Initial Complaint

Requested new perforated leather for the front seats of my *** along with Degreez cooling system. He insisted I give him a personal check (not made out to his business) for over ****. He was alone there, not even a receptionist on a mid afternoon weekday. He later text me that he had **** employees, yet not one other person was there. This all occurred on March 17, 2023 at about 2 PM. After he text me that he had **** employees is when I woke up to the idea I was being conned. And I asked for a return of my deposit and let him keep $100 for his troubles. At that point he would no longer answer calls or texts. I have screen shots of all his prior texts.Initial Complaint

I gave lances tops and upholstery over ***** dollars on may 4th to have 2 front seats reupholstered on my vehicle, it has been nothing but excuses and I still to this *********'t even seen the material that he promises he has, it's to the point where he's not even answering me anymore, and I'm not the only one. I would like to know the best steps to either get my money back, or just have the job completed and don't know where else to turn.Initial Complaint

Date of transaction 11-3-2022. Deposit left $1400.00 by check #**** to ***** Karas invoice #****. Was to be 4-6 weeks. Between week 6-9 I tried to schedule times for install. He ignored all requests and would not communicate with me. Has been evicted from place of business. I asked for refund at his place of residence, since I could find no other way. He refused to discuss and just told me to fill out paperwork at the courts. His home address is ****************************************************************. Email ******************************************* All he did was lie, make excuses, and steal money. Very unethical.Initial Complaint

I took my **** **** Ranger to have the headliner repaired. He removed the headliner and visors and requested the cash up front. I gave him half, $125. He has ignored my tests and phone calls for the most part, but he did promise via text to finish on Monday 11/21, then again on Tuesday 11/22, and again on Wednesday 11/23. He said they aren't done, then he says they are done, but he seems to have little interest in finishing the job. All I want is for him to finish the job and I will pay him the rest of the $250, but he is just jerking me around for some reason, I don't know why.
