i was overcharged for a air cond. cleaning service of ******. i had googled before hand an found prices of ****** to ****** range. i am a unemployed senior an that took my rent for the month. plus i was charged to vacuum out a line,that samme line was vacummed 1 week ago by choice home warrenty. i hate to pick, but **** company ripped me off. i demand my ****** back, im ok with ****** for what he did.Business response

Came to ************ vents 12/14/2023, one month later our dryer burned out, new dryer wouldnt work so we inspected the vents and found them still completely clogged. Cannot reach the company or the technician, and no one will respond. Photo of vents after cleaning completedBusiness response

I am rejecting this response because:the Company has not reached out to fix the issue. I actually reached out to the company prior to the complaint and their only recommendation was that I pay them again to come back out for a consult. This issue has still not been addressed.

11/23/2023 A technician was sent to my home for blocked dryer vent. The technician came and disconnected my dryer stated he was going to get a new vent at ********** (they are closed it is Thanksgiving Day) he re entered my home and says he fixed the vent charged my card and left. 2 times while in my home he tried to ener other rooms with out permission this is a safety concern. After he left we went to use the dryer and realized he didn't fix anything he disconnected the dryer and pushed it back in place.Initial Complaint

On Monday October 30, 2023 two young men came in their own vehicle and said they were there to clean the drier vent. I showed them the drier. One of the men mentioned I had a mold problem as the intact vent in the ceiling was black. He tried to sell me a total air duct cleaning. I told him no not at this time. They asked me if I had a broom and dustpan which I gave them along with a bag to put the lint in. They collected 2 dust pans of lint and told me it would be more money to go all the way through the attic to the roof. I told them that should have all been included. I did not want to pay any more than the $130.00 that they quoted. Leaving some lint on the floor they put the drier back in place. I was not happy but paid by check the $130.00 to Safe Air a different name than I originally thought. I was told they would email the receipt. Red flags were popping up everywhere. I did a load of clothes right away and dried them. To my disappointment the drier did not pick up any more lint than before they came and cleaned the back of the drier. I checked the back of the drier and the duct tubing looked crimped. I called to complain and was told by one of the men to take a picture and send it to him. I did and he told me the tubing was fine just pull the drier out from the wall a little bit. I did that but it did not help the drying. It takes 2 or 3 drying cycles to get a small load of clothes dry. I have called and complained everyday since Monday to complain but no one has called me back. The answering service is very nice and says she will get in touch with the techs but still no one had called back to remedy the problem. They only used a brush to remove the lint. No vaccum was used and they did not clean past the back duct. Very poor workmanship and customer service. I would like all monies returned because the work was not performed properly. I am no better off then before they came. Overcharged for the job done.
