$70,000 over the estimate and approx $150,000 later and the project was still not completed in SEVEN months on a less than 500 square foot addition (a small bedroom, laundry room and bathroom for our elderly parents). We had to stop the work because this company was bleeding us dry. **** gives an excuse for everything that happens but there really is no excuse. Three different workers at 3 different times told us they had to quit or were not working another job with Ace because they could not live on the $10 to $12 an hour they were being paid. We were charged $137 per hour. Of course, **** denied what the laborers told us when he was confronted about the barrier to job completion because of people quitting. It's been a poo-show. There was a drywall guy trying to fix the electrical. There was a painter instructed to build a frame and install a door (he told us he had no idea what he was doing but that **** told him to go to the hardware store and buy whatever equipment he needed and "just get it done". These are supposed to be licensed people? We are certain there is likely no way what's been done is going to pass inspection, which we WILL be seeking to get a better understanding of just how badly the work has been done for the amount of money we paid out for a project only 75% completed, if that. This is an unethical business who took advantage of us. I have a video of a walkthrough done today but was unable to upload it.Business response

On 5/12/22 Management followed up again LVM to arrange meeting to resolve any outstanding concerns and balances.
On 3/24/22 4/14/22 General Manager reached out to the customer on several occasions by email and by leaving voice mail at both listed phone numbers
to arrange a conference call or office meeting to review account that was placed on hold by customer, because the in-laws became ill and will no longer occupy the home as they will be relocated to a nursing home.
Customer will resume all work at a later date once arrangements have been resolved for in-laws.
Account was placed on hold.
