      Wish I could give zero stars. Our house was built in 2004 so when we began to have roof issues (leaks) I called the company that originally installed the roof, Central Florida Roofing. My initial experience with them was good. They sent a repairman within a day and he fixed 2 of the 3 leaks. He told me the 3rd leak needed more extensive repairs and he would be back. I called the office the next day to provide payment for the work already done and asked when someone would be out for the final repair. I was promised a day and time. When the appointed time came and went with no repairman and no communication, I again called the office and was told everyone was on an emergency repair, but someone would for sure be out later that day. No one came that day, or the next day I was promised someone, or the next, or the next. Each time we waited all day for someone to show up who never came, I had to be the one making contact to find out what was going on and was repeatedly promised "someone would be there". I have never heard from management to apologize for my wasted time or the continued damage from the unrepaired leak. I most definitely do not recommend Central Florida Roofing as they clearly do not care to provide even the most basic customer service!

      Hello Mrs. *******. As your home is 18 years old, it is out of warranty. Your calls have been logged in our system and repair calls are handled in the order that they are entered in the system as quickly as they can. Our repair crew is doing the best that they can to cover as many repairs as possible every day, weather permitting. The guys leave the shop with a list that our project manager gives them every day at approx 6:30AM. In the office we do not make the schedule, we can only go by what our pm has on his calendar and by what he tells us. Some times when the guys get to a job it is more involved than they anticipate and it takes longer. We have asked the repair crews to reach out to customers via phone and apprise them of the situation, when they will arrive, when they can't etc. Unfortunately, when our guys are working in temps that reach near and often exceed the 100 degree mark on roofs, they are exhausted when they come down and get in the truck and sometimes they forget as their phones are also ringing off the hook all day, as well, we have had three trucks in the shop over the last week, one for months now as they try to sort out elusive transmission problems that render the truck inoperable. Additionally, I believe that I told you on the phone that we were short handed as there was an unexpected death that directly affected three members of the CFR family, being our pm's sister, and two of the guys' in the field mother, so they were out grieving their tragic and sudden loss while planning a funeral (which was today) and picking up relatives at the airport etc. Between this sudden and tragic loss and the extreme storms that we have had rolling through our area this past couple of weeks our guys are simply running behind and doing the best that they can.
      I understand your frustration and wanting the repairs to be made. There are lots of qualified and licensed roofing professionals in the area. I hope that you are able fine that to meet your requirements.

      Thank you for your reply and my condolences for the loss of your staff's family member. As I said on the phone several times, I completely understand that things come up, companies are short staffed and the weather is a factor. I was, in fact, never informed the no shows were due to a death. I was only repeatedly promised I was on the schedule and someone would come to my house on 4 consecutive business days. The courtesy of a phone call to say no one would come is basic customer service and not too much to ask, especially as the no shows happened repeatedly.

      Additionally, I never once suggested these repairs would be under any warranty. I called your company because you originally installed the roof. Since the builder, whom we greatly respect and trust, chose your company to install the roof, I assumed we could trust you as well. I understand roofs wear and tear and only hoped you could repair our leaks instead of replace our roof. As it turns out, we were able to find another contractor who showed up when they said they would.
