My mother is elderly and lives in Lakeland. She had a problem with her AC Unit and called this company. They showed up and told her the unit would need to be replaced and would cost $7,000.00. This news was devastating to my mother who lives on a fixed income. I think the guy felt bad because he was then able to "fix" her unit by replacing the motor and a Dual Run Capacitor and charge her $1,254.00. Since he left the unit has been banging and clanging so bad that neighbors were complaining about it. Mom called the company back and they again told her it couldn't be fixed that she would need to replace it and it would cost $7,000.00. Today, my mother noticed a different HVAC company at her neighbor's house so she asked them to come take a look at her AC unit and see if they thought they could fix it. The guy walked up to the unit to look it over, grabbed a s**** driver and tightened three screws that were left loose, and magically, the unit is running perfectly and no other maintenance was needed. This is fraud and not acceptable.Business response

We did a Service Call $119 Motor $794 and a Dual Cap for $341 for a total of $1,264.00, She ask us to quote a unit when she thought there was something wrong. I think there was some miscommunication, we would never and i have never in 30 years taken advantage of the elderly nor would my employees ever do that... I called the contractor that went there , the s**** on the fan was loose and the blade was coming off, so yes **** made a mistake and we apologize for that. It took the other contractor 60 seconds to tighten the s**** and yes it was nice of him not to charge her. I called him and Thanked him for doing that. I have sent a refund check today 11/3/2022 for $800. She will have that in a couple days. Below is the review her ******************* wrote about us the day **** came out. They had really good conversation and she made **** a bracelet. I have also attached a picture **** took for our check in on ******* I'm very sorry about the mis communication and the s**** being loose on the fan. I hope that the $800 refund and our apology will resolve this. Thank you,
