Purchased a car approximately 3 weeks ago from this business and then found out issues with the car where not disclosed up front before purchase. Lied to by salesman/finance manager Grady ( who claims to be a preacher) and owner Richard J****. Was told check engine light was gas cap issue and traction control not working was a fuse. Car has front end vibration and was told to bring it to them and they would get front end alignment done and front tires balanced because that is all it needed for front end vibration. Called Grady and also text messages for proof and advised car had an exhaust leak with fumes coming in car, misfire on cylinder 1 & 2, and the transmission was making a noise when shifting into reverse. Told to bring to him so he could get it to the shop for alignment and have other issues fixed. Car was taken to him and they had it for 1 1/2 days before he notified me it was ready for pickup and all was fixed. Nothing was fixed still has exhaust leak, vibration, traction control does not work and they broke the passenger side window button while they had it. Only thing that was done was the codes where cleared out so check engine light would off short term and gave paper on alignment but still has the same vibration. Called and text multiple times and was given the run around before finally speaking to Richard J**** who informed that they had done all they where going to do and basically called me a liar even though I have the text messages. They are crooked liars who are only patching cars to sell them and do not care who’s money they take or what issues they cause. Consumers laws should apply because it states you must disclose issues known before sale or a crime has been committed. Someone needs to hold them accountable for what they are doing and make sure they never sell another vehicle. Dishonest and crooks.Business response

This response is the response to complaint filed by Ms. ** ****. Ms. **** purchased an automobile from Pure Gibson under a as is purchase. Ms. **** signed a contract with the full understanding that the sales was as is. Ms. **** stated in her complaint that she had dealing with Mr. J**** (owner) Mr. J**** is not the owner of Pure Gibson and had only (2) conversation with Ms. ****. Conversation 1consisted of taking a message from Ms. **** in reference to bringing the car back to have the car alignment check and align if needed. Second conversation with Ms **** occurred on last week when she contacted Grady O***** in reference to a text message from her to Mr. O*****. Ms. **** claims to have had several conversations with Mr.J**** and this is totally untrue. Mr. J**** is one of our office managers and had no dealings with the customer other than what has been forestated. Ms. **** purchase a high performance automobile for her son and turn this automobile loose with this young man and now want Pure Gibson to fix what he has obviously torn up. We have tried to work with Ms. **** but that proven to be quite difficult. Ms. **** didn't keep appointment to bring the car back to have front end checked and and after alignment was done started texting Mr. O***** with all these other issues. When she spoke with Mr. J**** on last week it was on Mr.O****** phone.Ms.**** was very rude and disrespectful.

I am rejecting this response because: everything in their response is untruthful. I have 2 other witnesses to the conversations and the text messages of correspondence with Grady about the car and the issues. I have attached a few but did not give the option to add anymore. As far as Richard J**** being the owner that is how he was introduced to me and my witnesses as well as represented by Grady. The as is contract is only valid when known issues are disclosed before the sale otherwise is consumer fraud which is exactly what they are doing to people and getting away with it. My son didn’t tear up anything and these issues where brought to their attention immediately after the car was purchased… multiple issues starting the day after purchase because they patched the car for sale, cleared codes with a reader to get it off the lot, and then lied about evident issues like the steering shaking and saying it just needed a front end alignment and tires balanced and verbally promising to fix it in front of witnesses and saying we honor out commitments for return business and word of mouth advertising when they where asked to put it writing before I gave them my hard earned money.

Purchased cash car from lot. The car lot pawned the title to the car so now I cannot obtain a title for car because of lien against car.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2022/05/27) */ This reply is to the complaint filed by one of our customers concerning a title to the vehicle. First,she stated that it was a cash sale which it wasn't. The contract was done as a buy here pay here because there was a balance owed. The paperwork was processed with *********** as the lien holder. Business Response /* (1000, 11, 2022/04/13) */ This reply is in response to the complaint filed by Ms. ******** ******. Ms ****** purchased the vehicle well aware that she was purchasing an as is vehicle. No warranty,Ms. ****** had the opportunity to get the vehicle inspected by an outside source but chose not to. Pure Gibson has been in business for more than 15 years ànd has always tried to offer a quality product. Consumer Response /* (3000, 13, 2022/04/14) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) It obviously wasn't a quality vehicle if it stopped working 3 days after I purchased it and I was offered to get it fixed by one of the staff but no one ever came to pick it up. You are also incorrect I did get it inspected by an outside mechanic when it stopped working and one of your mechanics when I took it back to complain before it stopped working. I had the vehicle less than 7 days and it stopped working. Drove it less than 30 miles also. It could not have been quality if it just stopped after 3 days of purchase. I also had an issue the very first day and went and got a part for it and was assured I'd be compensated for the part and have yet to receive that compensation.
