Dealing with Renegade Insurance has been an absolute nightmare causing high levels of stress, the development of anxiety and mental anguish. Sept 24 I was forced out of business due to injury. My policies included General Liability and Business Car insurance with Nationwide, and Workers Comp with Employers. I called Renegade to terminate my policies Nov 29. After being charged in December, I called Renegade again to inquire why I was charged. I then found out no action was taken, in fact there was no record of my request. I called Nationwide directly who proceeded to provide a refund for December and terminate my policy. Employers however required that my agency terminate my policy. I contacted Renegade to have them terminate and refund my account at Employers and I was informed for the first time about an *** needed to be signed. I digitally signed and submitted the form, then in January I was charged again. I contacted Renegade to find out that I had signed in the wrong spot, and they did nothing to inform me. I then asked to speak to management who seemed to be helpful, until I was charged again in February. I contacted Renegade to find out she was no longer with the company, and nothing I had requested was done. *****************, the **** informed me and then proceeded to tell me his company was not at fault. He currently continues to go in circles with me about when the *** was signed correctly, blatantly ignoring his employees negligence prior to and thereafter. Now 25 days after initial contact with the *** of the company, I am continuing to stress if anything is being done at all to assist, rather than disparage. I have asked to be refunded for the months they negligently allowed to continue, as well as an inquiry to be backdated to my date of injury. Id also like the ******************** to look into why it states Renegade Insurance is not BBB Accredited, but Renegade lists itself as an Accredited Business on its website with the stamp of approval at the bottom.Initial Complaint

Signed up to become an agent with Renegade based on the "sales pitch" and promises made. Their website boasts of "Access to 90+ top carriers". This is an absolute lie. After paying the initial $7500 it became clear that this was a shady operation. Shortly after training, they lost Progressive as a carrier, which is a huge reason I chose Renegade. Second, I wanted to focus on Trucking and Commerical, only to find out it was still in the testing phase. I would go to quote and only a few carriers were available, and none of them anywhere close to being competitive. I started asking other agents and they were having the same problem. My attorney said to start by filing complaints against the company with the BBB and the **** which I'm now doing. I'm starting to reach out to other agents to start a case against this company.Business response

Renegade and our employees take great care to ensure a positive relationship in all aspects of our business.
The number of Insurance Carriers on the Renegade platform is greater than 90 but can change based on the licensure of the specific agent, their state of domicile and additional non-resident state licensure.
The Renegade commercial and transportation verticals are not in a testing phase and are fully functional and operational.
The Renegade platform is a pass-through platform. For clarity, this means we are not underwriting any risks but providing the relationships with Insurance Carriers via our platform or other processes. In your complaint, you state that upon quoting, the Insurance Carriers that returned rates for the presented risk(s) were not competitive. Obviously without reviewing each risk presented and understanding your definition of competitive, it would be impossible for Renegade to determine if the rates presented and offered by the Insurance Carriers were competitive. Again, our platform provides the opportunity to shop the risk with multiple Insurance Carriers who determine rates offered,that does not always mean that the rate will be accepted or comparable to the rate the risk is currently paying. Insurance rates fluctuate frequently based on macro and micro economic factors.
Your request for a refund of your initial payment was reviewed and declined by 3rd parties including your banking institution, not by Renegade. We stand behind their review and assessment of the terms and conditions of the contract, services and training provided.
We sincerely apologize that Renegade was not the best fit for you and your business, we wish that was not the case.

I am rejecting this response because:It did not fix the problem. $7,500 is too high for a service I do not utilize. The website boasts of 90+ carriers, including (at that time) Progressive. This is a gross overstatement of what will be provided to the individual agent. I will begin the legal process.

On January 12,2021 I filled a claim on renagade insurance with specialist ******** from Renegade trucking company. The claim was due to a accident that took place on Dec 21, 2021 @1:30 am at my mom's residence ***********************. Pictures of my car where obtained and the trucks and drivers license information as well for ********************** information. After submitting the claim to renegade, ******** issues me a claim number #***** and assigned adjuster *********************************** and placed claim on policy qad102803, insured *********************.******** dropped the ball and failed to submit my claim, the information she gave me is another claimants with very similar details to my claim: such as address, time, insured policy number, except the claimants information differs and the date. I have been trying to solve this problem with renagade for over 2 months, and after filling a new claim and waiting for a new adjuster to be appointed to me and schedule of appraisal meeting meanwhile the insured has lost interest in assuming responsible for the repairs. The adjuster and I have been calling the insured and no answer, the adjuster asked me to forward any or all emails that me and Bashir had in arrengment to the proceedings to confirm he infact he assumes responsibility, I sent out the emails and she failed to follow through, her name being *****, *************. She has since asked me to go look for him physically in Wich I refuse because it's not safe for me. I just want my car fixed I have given them all the information I could get my hands on and they are just toying around with my case and are realistically taking advantage of my situation. I just need my car fixed I must get my car fixed, please helpBusiness response

Initially, our service agent did provide incorrect information.Upon realizing incorrect information for the claim was given, our agent quickly contacted the customer and gave the correct adjusters name and contact information,which occurred on the same day.
The information we have shows that the adjuster attempted to reach the customer several times and was unable to connect before finally connecting.
We sincerely apologize for any delays caused by Renegade and the initial incorrect information that was provided.
