Needed a prescription to be filed. Told by Dr. ********* ******* office that must have appt in order for prescription to be filled. Video call appt. scheduled. Prescription filled before appt. Called to cancel appt. Told need to keep video call appt. WAS A 3 MINUTE CALL TO VERIFY THAT I RECEIVED THE PRESCRIPTION AND THAT DOING GOOD. PATIENT PORTION TO PAY AFTER CODE SUBMITTED TO INSURANCE WAS $155. Started contacting office on Oct. 22 and the billing department. Wouldn't hear back. Called multiple times-being told no update. Tried multiple times speaking to office Mgr. Spoke with ************* -told to ask for a different code that billed at a lower rate. Insurance *** also said she would contact office and request that they look at changing the code. Finally spoke to office mgr. Nov. 7. Was told that there is nothing they can do about reducing the amount due. Again, billing said that in order for the amount due to be reduced, it must be done at the office. I am asking again for someone there to look at this. A 3 minute video call appt. that I was told that I needed to keep should not be costing $155 out of pocket. SEPT. 18, THE DOCTOR ON THE CALL WAS DR. ********* *****.
