My family and I are moving from ************ to ************** and needed to get a shed installed after our handyman backed out of doing the work in February HEARTLAND INDUS was recommended by Lowes and I spoke to them about that urgency of this shed being installed I was assured that it would take no longer than two weeks at which time I started receiving formation that the township was holding up the permit. after the permit finally went through the Shed was finally install in May. The shed subsequently failed inspection twice after HEARTLAND industries failed to even contact the inspector for final inspection, and I was responsible to do it. It has been five weeks since this occurred the shed is still not completed HEARTLAND industries has failed to have the engineer redothe blueprint, they failed to respond to my calls, and when they do they tell me theyre going to get to it, but they dont know where it falls on the engineers queue Being that everythings on a computer, it would take five minutes to adjust the plan and contact the inspector. The contact at HEARTLAND INDUS has done nothing to expediate the process, he ignores my calls and has gone to vacation without completing. This shed is ruining my familys ability to move due to what the shed must be used for and making it that the PA house is unable to be put up for sale. We need the alterations made and the shed to pass inspection to move forward. 3-4 months is way too long for start to finish of a shedInitial Complaint

We ordered a shed from ****** and paid for the build in August. A build day was scheduled for 28 November 2022 (earliest availability), weeks ago and confirmed multiple times. It looks like the shed is purchased through Heartland and the build is contracted out to Backyard Products out of ******, **********. On the day of the build, no effort was made to contact me. No one showed up. I called multiple times to check. Neither Heartland, nor Backyard Products could get a hold of their contractors or builders. I took a day off of work to sit and home and wait. I think it is incredibly unprofessional to no show and never give the courtesy of calling. The shed is nearly $4000 and during these hard times, it is difficult to take an entire day off of work. It is disrespectful to the customer who paid hard earned money and treat them like they are not even worth their time to call. I think neither *****, nor Heartland, nor Backyard Products is willing to accept any form of accountability in this mistake. Each company passes blame. As of right now, no one knows where my shed is, nor when the builders can come out. They could not even reschedule, despite my calling them multiple times. I think to have someone pay $4000 and then not be able to provide neither the service nor the product is theft! Worst of all, no one is attempting to rectify this mistake. Their unprofessionalism and lack of customer service could have caused additional second and third order effects. How am I supposed to take any more days off when no one adheres to the scheduled build day! I will be reprimanded and held accountable at work, but will any of these companies? This seems like a scam and I expect a company like ****** and Heartland Sheds to thoroughly screen their subcontractors.Initial Complaint

We purchase a Heartland Shed on Sept 28, 2021 for a total of $5344.45.We originally had an install date of end of November but the day of the install they cancelled and ended up coming a few weeks later. Once installed we pointed out some major issues:The window and 4 blocks we purchased were not installed The paint job was incomplete, only one coat which looks terrible No black paint for framing like the pic shows (the sheds are two tone)Split wood with nails protruding in places Misalignment We reached out right away and the person told us their manager would handle it and be in touch. It has been months with no contact even though we keep reaching out, we get no response!For such a large person, I would hope we would at minimum get some real communication to figure out how to make this right.
