I applied for rental assistance through Neighborly Software which is a Fulton county program. I am not getting the proper assistance. The Fulton county workers give inconsistent information. I am currently on a month to month lease because I didn't renew my lease. So by law and as stated in the lease it goes month to month at a rate of ******** per month. The Fulton County worker keeps on insisting on a current lease and I have stated to her numerous times that is the current lease and if you read it it will explain. Just because it is dated for 2018 doesn't mean its not current it is still a legal document upheld on a month to month term. The also keep requesting information that I have provided to them. They claim since Progress Residential has a partnership with them that they must validate information through the document portal. But Fulton County doesn't send them the proper information and I don't understand what is taking so long if they have a partnership. If the only thing holding up my rent payment is for the worker to read the lease and too valid the ledger that I have provided, which is validated in the lease. What is the hold up. Also if the payment is going straight to the rental company than what else needs to validated. If you are advertising to help people with rental assistance then why is the follow through not happening so I can get assistance. Why is an eviction process started especially if there is a partnership. Communication should be made between the two partnering company stating that they are working to pay this clients rent since she qualifies so that no eviction process could start. I have requested a supervisor or director contact me and it took two weeks for that to happen when I was told it would take 72 hours. When you ask too many questions told you are being difficult. Im just trying to get the assistance I need and qualify for and I don't understand the resistance.
